Ice ice necky
I’ve been dealing with recurring neck stiffness and occasional migraines, so I wanted something versatile that could be used for more than one area of my body. This ice pack wrap has been exactly what I needed. The gel packs get cold quickly in the freezer and stay cold for a good amount of time, which makes a huge difference when I’m trying to relieve pain before starting my workday.I also like that it can be used for hot therapy — I’ve used it warm after long hours at my desk to help relax tension in my shoulders. The adjustable strap keeps it in place so I’m not constantly having to reposition it, whether I’m using it on my neck, wrist, or even my thigh after a workout. The size is just right for targeted relief, and the material is comfortable against my skin without feeling scratchy. This has become part of my regular recovery routine, and I keep it ready in the freezer so it’s always available when I need it. I will update this review if any issues arise.

Comfort on comfort on comfort!
This is a great, flexible ice wrap that gets the job done! The neoprene is so comfortable and totally eliminates the need for an annoying layer in between the ice and the body. Will definitely buy more!

Good for Post Carotid Surgery
If it would stay colder longer would have given five stars. After post carotid surgery this was a life saver but had to be re frozen after just a few minutes. I still recommend

Awesome ice pack
This is a great ice pack. It is high quality material. I love that it is versatile in its uses. Not only for where on body you can use it, but you can do heat or ice. It fits on your neck, head, wrist, or ankles.. flexible and easy to use. Works great!

Neck ice pack comfotable
Very comfortable ice pack for neck. Its very soft with a velcro strip that can be attached on any side. Covers my neck end to end and is easy to use. It definitely is a good value for money.

Works fine if you’re tiny, but not for normal sized people.
I’m not sure what kind of human stand-in the designers of this Chilmax Neck Ice Pack Wrap used, but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a real person. I mean, how else could they possibly claim that this tiny little ice pack is suitable for use on the forehead, neck, wrist, ankle, and presumably the entirety of the human body?Let’s be real, folks, this thing is TINY. It’s like they took a normal-sized ice pack and then shrunk it down to the size of a small mouse pad. And don’t even get me started on the claims that it’s for “relief pain, injuries, arthritis, muscle soreness” – are you kidding me? This thing is barely big enough to cover a bruise, let alone an entire neck or forehead.I tried using it on my neck, and let’s just say it was a bit of a joke. The ice pack barely covered a small section of my neck, and I had to move it around constantly to try and get any sort of relief. And don’t even get me started on trying to use it on my forehead – it’s like they expect people to have a forehead the size of a postage stamp.I did manage to get some limited use out of it on smaller areas, like my wrist or ankle. But anything more than a few inches in diameter, and you’re out of luck. I mean, I’ve got a better chance of getting relief from a bag of frozen peas. At this point, I’m starting to think that the only people who would benefit from this product are children or petite individuals with the physical attributes of a Barbie doll. So, if you’re in the market for a miniature ice pack that will only provide relief for the tiniest of areas, then this might be the product for you. But if you’re looking for something that will actually cover a decent-sized area, then keep looking. Or just stick with the frozen peas – they’re cheaper and just as effective.

Comfortable, hands free relief for itchy skin
I bought this ice pack wrap for a weird chronic issue I have where old bug bites on my arm randomly flare up and get insanely itchy. Ice is one of the only things that calms it down, but I hate using regular ice packs. They are awkward and a huge pain to hold in place, especially if I want to move around or use my other hand. This ice pack wrap is ingenious because you can use it hands free. I don’t have to keep my arm flat against a surface anymore to get good contact. I use it on my arm, but it’s designed for the neck. It will definitely work on a bunch of other spots like your ankle or wrist too. It may not work on thighs if you want the entire circumference cooled, but you can use the velcro to extend the length of the wrap. The gel inside stays flexible even when frozen. It very easily conforms to your shape instead of feeling stiff and bulky. The material is way nicer than typical plastic ice packs. It has a soft, cloth-like outer layer that feels comfortable directly on skin and doesn’t run the risk of giving me frostnip the way plastic packs sometimes do. Because of that, I feel like it’s a lot gentler for long-term use or people with sensitive skin. The strap is fully detachable, which is helpful because you can wrap the gel part around first and then fasten it snug with the strap. In my case, I need help from someone else to get it around my arm, but if you’re not using it on your arm you should be able to do it by yourself. I have used this at home, at work, and even while traveling. The only downside is that it doesn’t stay cold super long. I usually get about 30 minutes out of it before needing to pop it back in the freezer. My arm gets very hot with my flare ups, so that might be why it doesn’t stay cold for long. It’s honestly not bad considering it’s soft and flexible, and 30 minutes at a time is usually enough to calm my skin. But if you need longer relief without a break, it might be worth getting two to alternate. Overall, I had great results using this for my flare ups. It’s functional and comfortable, but I do wish it stayed cold a little longer.
