Works As Described!
Installation and setup for the wireless door chime and pushbutton took about 10 minutes. The buttons on the side of the chime make it easy to program the volume and “ding dong” melody you prefer. I did not test the range, but it works great in my home where the plug-in device is on the other side of the living room. It comes with the required CR2032 battery for the push button which is always a plus!

Put my supplied 3 AA batteries in the receiver then spent 10 minutes prying the back off the push button to put the supplied 2032 battery in that. Surprised that at least some el cheapo Chinese batteries weren’t supplied for the receiver though and caused the loss of one rating star. I went through the 32 ring tones – all are pretty clear and the volume is adjustable. A note about those ring tones – if you find one you like but want to hear the others, it will take a few minutes to cycle back. I use the second but of couse had to go through all 32 to get back. Not a big deal, just some info.

Worked right out of the box
No muss no fuss, just mount the button outside, plug in the bell to any house outlet, adjust your ring tone type and volume. Then your good to go…

EASY EASY Install
Super simple easy install. Mounting plate goes on with two screws (provided), battery (included) slips in and the top part snaps into the mounting plate. Plugged the chime unit in inside the house – done. Total install time was less that 10 minutes. All that was left was to select one of the pre-programmed chimes. Didn’t even have to read the manual to do it!

The Newhouse doorbell and chime combo that I initially purchased would not pair properly with the buzzer and the chime. Had to call tech support and they promptly sent a new one. Just hooked it up today and it works seamlessly. I like the fact that the doorbell ringing tone can be selected from a large selection of melodies. Inside the kit there is both mounting screws and adhesive tape to complete the installation. So far so good. Have to check how it holds up under Canadian weather outside.
