    Great Parkinson’s aid
My wife has Parkenson’s and this addition to her walker helps her walk more normally. Her neurologist was very impressed. Great customer service if you have issues.

    Life saver!!
I bought NexStride for my grandfather to help with his balance – his physical therapist told me about NexStride as a tool to help him practice walking in between appointments. It attaches to the cane that my grandfather is already using, but easily can be moved from a cane to a walker in just a few minutes. It has been amazing! He used to fall all the time, but not anymore! It has really worked! He hasn’t had any falls since he started using it!I also really love how customizable it is. The laser can move forward, backward or side to side, which makes it super easy to set up on a right-handed or left-handed cane, on a walker, or on a rollator. The metronome beat also can be changed faster or slower to match his walking speed. If he’s going up a hill, we turn it down. If he’s walking flat, we turn up the speed a bit. It helps him regulate how fast he should be walking and keep him safer. We also change the volume of the metronome beat when he’s outside vs. inside in a quieter place.Overall I am so grateful to the physical therapist for telling us about it – it has been a life saver!

    What a great find!
A close friend of mine has been struggling to walk due to freezing episodes causing her to fall so I started researching if there were any solutions on the market that could help her. I found a few different options that seemed like they might help and ultimately decided to get Nexstride for her to try because it seemed the most versatile and adaptable. My friend has been using Nexstride for a couple weeks now and it has made quite the difference for her. She no longer worries about falling because as soon as she starts to freeze she turns on the light and beat and they magically keep her moving. The difference for her has been pretty remarkable and I’m glad I found this product for her.

Very helpful device for grandpas walking with freezing Gait!
I purchased this product for my grandpa who struggles with his mobility. ITs had great results. Hes not very motivated to walk, but now he feels much more comfortable with the guiding light and metronomes. He has freezing gait – consistent with Parkinson’s – which keeps him from being active. But really we just want him to keep moving and feeling safe and comfortable getting around. Very easy to set up (for me, he probably wouldn’t alone) – and simple to function even for elderly. Worth the price for sure.

My Parkinson’s just didn’t work for me
Green light when we looked down at the floor and I need to look up. It throws my balance of looking down.

    Very much worth it!!
As a clinician (PTA), I have used this device in more than one way. It definitely has helped more than one Parkinson’s patients, but I have also been able to use this to assist patients getting back to walking after strokes, after car wrecks, a developmentally delayed kiddo to move forward, the list goes on and on. When someone feels “stuck” this helps them get un-stuck. Helping to reroute the connection from their brain to their bodies, gives them all a chance to grow and get back to living.

YOUR PERSONAL ON CALL RECHARGEABLE PHYSICAL THERAPISTS
If you are trying to learn how to walk again perhaps after an injury or even a stroke NexStride is perfectly suited for that task. I have been using a NexStride strapped to my simple cane for about a year now. It allows me to practice in real time, at my convenience. If you want to improve your gait this device is perfectly suited for you. The device projects a green laser line in front of you so that you can gauge the length of your stride. The metronome helps me to keep my pace regular so that I don’t speed up or slow down unless I want to. Everything is fully and easily adjustable. CON: The retractable connectivity cord that connects the switch to the laser is a magnetic disc and that doesn’t really fit a tube shaped cane. The work around is you simply wrap the cord around the cane at the desired length, simple enough. And It is fully rechargeable with a USB port. No batteries required!I use the Vive folding walking cane. I have one with the NexStride attached to it [my working cane].And the other one I use when I’m not doing physical therapy on my own.If you want to improve your gait, lengthen your stride, improve your balance, I suggest you pick up a NexStride today. Enjoy walking again!
