A cane for the Aged(s).
Dollar for dollar and pound for pound this has got to be one of the premier values on Amazon. Solid as a rock and reliable, an essential asset in a walking cane. A product with confidence written all over it.

Duty Quad Cane
They are the best canes I ever had. I had the skinny ones but they were too dangerous so I got the big ones love love love them i’m not scared to go outside. I’m 83 years they don’t wobble back-and-forth like the skinny ones and different brand. get them you love them.

Shorter than expected but very sturdy for shorter people
I’m 6 foot 3 inches tall and it’s a bit short, I Hunch little bit so I can make it work for me, but if you’re tall I would avoid these, I bought two of them to get around my apartment/living area when I’m not using my walker or wheelchair, my regular bariatric canes are a good 3 inches taller on the highest setting so if your are under 6 foot these will probably be great, over 6 foot you might have some difficulty.. it is a little shorter than the advertised length at maximum highest setting, but these very sturdy, anyone under 6 foot it would be a very good option, and I would recommend it.

Excellent product.
This quad cane is very sturdy. The physical therapist said it was more heavy duty than the ones they have at their facility. They were very impressed!

Perfect For Recovered Stroke Victim
It is heavy weight, up to 500 lbs, (although he is no where near that weight) so I knew my husband would be confident in learning how to use it after using a Hemi walker for two years. The base is solid and large, that’s what he needed. Great product!

Great cane — heavy-duty (and heavier weight) as advertised
A great-quality cane as long as you understand that the base is pretty large and heavy. I got this for my mother, thinking larger and heavier-duty meant better quality and more sturdy for her. Her physical therapist actually told me to return it and get the smaller, lighter kind because this one was harder for her to deal with. So for my mother it wasn’t the right type, but it’s a very nice cane. It was delivered quickly and the return handled easily. Great transaction. For the replacement cane, I got the same type of cane in the smaller size, made by the same company, from the same seller, and it has been perfect.

This is not a quality product and this is 4.5lbs of slag
Under most circumstances aluminum is not magnetic. So I decided to take a few magnets and see for myself because too many items on Amazon are not represented correctly and it scares me that people unwillingly place themselves in harms way due to the belief into the hands of false impressions. I fell prey to this one because I was simply out of options. I do not even weigh half of the weight this cane supposedly can handle. The auxiliary support is made up of a plastic handle glued to a metal bolt. So when you tighten the holding mechanism, they will eventually break. The base welds are substantially poor and my gut feeling is that over time people who depend on them will learn the hard way sadly. I have been trying to move from a walker to a quad cane after shattering my right leg. I had my knee replaced and basically from my ankle to the upper part of my femur bone replaced with metal. The first surgery failed, which my surgeon even explained to me that this was a very difficult surgery and to his credit, something that may have been beyond his ability. He is commended for the fact that he did the best he could in a rural area and expressed the last thing he wanted to do was amputate my leg. I went to a second surgeon and he said there was so much damage and so much that had to be replaced, there simply wasn’t an good way of anchoring anything and recommended I am truly blessed to have a sister who is an orthopedic surgeon and find a doctor able of saving my leg in a meaningful way. She found a doctor who was willing to give it his all and I underwent a 8.5 hour operation that required not only my bone to be replaced, but a plastic surgeon to cut 1/3 of my calf muscle and wrap it over my knee.Recovery was difficult but I am very physically active and not someone to just lay there and sulk. I truly believe and will one day be able to walk unassisted. From bed-ridden to wheel chair to walker I beat myself up to rehab my leg to the point where I was able to transition from a walker to a cane. Here is where the problems begin. The first company I bought two canes for (I always had to have a backup) which stated that their canes supported individuals up to 350lbs. Great! I have no issues and plenty of wiggle room just in case the cane(s) take a harder hit it support me. Within I week I was back in the hospital thanks to the way I landed on my leg when my cane bent in half. I have no problems mentioning it was purchased from here – Hugo 731-850 Adjustable Quad Walking Cane. So after falling back to the recommendation of using a walker to leg my leg heal and since the surgery was already very risky he did not want to open me up again. I dealt with the consequences and this time I was not willing to risk it, and figured that since I would not be able to make a better cane, I might as well seek out the medical devices.used by bariatric people. Foolishly I made the same mistake so many others have made. I felt the 4.25lbs of cane in my hand and said to myself, this was a huge upgrade from the garbage I was previously using.I purchased these on January 4th and without thinking logically about this, These canes were easily going to get my through my transition from walker to being able to walk unassisted. So what was the problem? Well you figure one of anything could have a hidden mistake and malfunction but two of them?It felt so solid like the stories you hear about “they don’t make them like they used to when a car was built to be durable and strong.” Today they are built so much better in terms of safety. So you hit a tree at 25 mph and your car barely has a dent and that was quality because it was heavy and built well and seriously injured everyone in the car. Today cars are built so much better than what they used to. The crumble zone, 3 point seat belt, airbags, electronic driver aids give anyone on the road a much better chance of survival. Why are both my canes bent? Why is the metal deforming and why has my cane gone from feeling tight and sturdy? Is there a reasonable way to use a metal screw and plastic? Not when it comes apart.Would it be possible to spent an extra couple of pennies and build the screw knob out of metal? At least it would help give off the illusion that to people who want a solid cane?So I took out a few magnets and checked. Absolutely not aluminum. Just cheap slag. A beautiful way of fooling people into believing that the imperfections scrapped off of someone else’s garbage is your best way making people feel like this product is heavy, and as I did, feel confident that the item will support me?Let’s go ahead and just advertise it was aluminum because no one wants to see “lead, whatever cheap metal we could get our hands on.” as the products may appear as of poor quality compared to what everyone sells. Finally, I do want people to know that the base of the large cane will not fit on any stairs at all. I learned this after purchasing two of them. Unless you are using them on a staircase that is larger than most, you will find out that this is a problem. Not the fault of the seller, but our own fault for not measuring the size of a stair in our staircase.

I’m near the weight limit for smaller canes and I’m very active – I appreciated the sturdyness and solidity of this cane. The small base means it’s useable to help me get down stairs, which is essential.
