Kid-Friendly Headphones
As a father of two, I spent a good amount of time researching kids’ headphones before choosing the STEELLUMEN NOVA1LITE for my younger son, who’s just started primary school. I’m glad I went with this model—it really meets my expectations.Right away, you can tell it’s designed specifically for kids. The fit is comfortable, and my son hasn’t complained about his ears hurting, even after wearing it for a while. The volume limit feature is a big plus. It gives me peace of mind, knowing it’s protecting his hearing, especially when he listens to stories during our drives.The noise-canceling function works well for a child’s needs. I did some research and learned that overly strong noise-canceling can be bad for young ears, causing discomfort and potential harm. This one tones it down just right. It’s not as powerful as adult headphones, but that’s exactly what I wanted. It cuts down on the usual background noise from school or on the street, which is more than enough for a kid.I was also pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. I use headphones a lot myself, and I can tell they’ve adjusted the sound to suit kids. The bass isn’t too heavy, and the highs and lows are balanced. It’s not as high-end as my Sony headphones, but considering its price, the hearing protection it offers, and the appropriate noise-canceling, I think it’s a great value for money.

Blue Kids Noise canceling headphonesGreat for younger kids and tweens, might be too small for teens.Features: The ear pads are very comfortable. They give a certain amount of noise shielding just from the padding. The size of the headphones is easily adjustable. An adult can wear these, but they’re a little tight. They might be too large for a small child. It has buttons on the outside for volume, on/off, and for Active noise cancellation. There is a little voice lets you know when you’ve inputted a command. It says, “Power on/Power off,” “Active noise cancellation on,” and so forth. Super easy to pair with Bluetooth. The instruction manual tells you the name of the headphone in your Bluetooth settings. It comes with a USB C charging cable. There doesn’t appear to be a headphone jack, so no option to connect directly to a device, only Bluetooth.Sound quality: These headphones actually have a surprising amount of bass for small, cheaper headphones. I didn’t detect any tinniness or interference. The sound quality was very clear, both for listening to videos, and also listening to music.Sound range: This reaches everywhere in my house, even through the brick walls, and out into the backyard, as well. Maybe a range of 100-200 yards, depending on what barriers there are.Active noise cancellation: This does have active noise cancellation. There is an easy button on the side to press for noise cancellation. The active noise cancellation works well with my loud shop fan. Haven’t had a chance to try it with anything else.Portability: They come with a soft bag as a carry case. They fold down pretty small, but no hard case.Price and value: These are a good price, currently $24.99, on Amazon, in July of 2024. Great quality for the price. Much better sound quality as compared to other cheap headphones I have gotten.I like these. Perfect for kids, easy to use.Pros: Easy to set up and use. Good sound quality and bass. Comfortable. Good range. USB-C charge cable. Decent noise cancellation.Cons: No headphone jack. No hard case.

Great Noise Canceling Headphones
I got the blue version of these. It’s a nice, subtle shade of blue. It comes with the headphones, a BNC cord for wired audio, a USB-to-USB-C charging cord, and a carrying bag. I appreciate that the bag is a really soft material on the outside, feels nice to carry. The bag does have drawstrings to close it.The headphone ear-pieces fold in, and rotate, for storage. The headband is expandable by about 2-1/2 inches to fit a wide variety of heads.Pairing is easy via BlueTooth. When you power it on, there is a voice telling you that the device is on and ready to pair. It also tells you when the device is paired. I was impressed by the voice notifications, very easy to understand with good tone and volume. I had a little difficulty, at first, getting the volume limit mode to work (pressing the + and – volume buttons at the same time). But once I figured it out, it works great. The voice tells you which mode you’re in (low, medium or high) and there is a noticeable difference between the modes. I also found (as an adult) the high mode was very loud but not uncomfortably loud.It was quite comfortable to wear. The ear cushions are very nice, although they do get warm after a while. Control is quite easy using the buttons. The power button serves multiple functions to power the device on/off, play/pause music or answer/hangup phone calls.The noise cancelling works well. Once again, the voice tells your clearly when noise canceling is on and when it is off. Noticeable difference between when it’s on and off.

Soft comfortable headphones!
My son has autism so headphones are a necessity in this house. We’ve been through so many over the years. My son really liked these! The ear pads were super soft and cushy. The sound quality was very impressive as well. The battery lasted about a week which was too but they unfortunately snapped the other day-granted these are worn 60-75% of the day everyday so that’s a lot of wear and tear to take into consideration. Overall, I would recommend them and plan to get him another pair!
