My wife just had surgery and has some back issues as well. This binder has been a big help. She’s using it for support as she is walking and trying to heal.

Holy grail after c section (may or may not cause irritation)
This was a life saver after laparoscopy and C-section I had. Seems durable, Velcro is strong, gives great support and compression.I did develop an irritation but I don’t know if it’s something in the bandage. I guess I could have worn it over a t shirt. So just a heads up

Best abdominal binder ever!
This is perfection! Exactly what I was looking for. Recovering from abdominal/colon surgery and hernias are a big fear. I wear this while gardening and doing any lifting over 10 lbs. This binder calms all my fears and is so soft and comfortable. Love, love , love it. Ordering a second so I always have one available while one needs laundering .

Sizing.
Beware. This belt’s size is not true. I have a 40-41” waist on a good day, and 30-45” item I bought barely fits.But it is well made, so I would order a size up as precaution.

Great Option for abdominal & hip support.
I had surgery that resulted in a C-section type incision and also I had very weak of stomach muscles before the surgery. I wear these one is first if it was a very horrible day. No stays but for the most part stays in place when you wear it over a thin cotton undershirt or camisole. I love you can pick and height to this and I love my 4 band it covers me from under the breasts to top of private area.Now I wear them only at night or around the house if it’s a lazy day. They do well when active and a great alternative for injuries that anything with stays would not be helpful. And if you got one of those from the hospital, you know exactly what I’m talking about.Save the Velcro strip cloth that you receive with it, the velcro is clearly made for aerospace use. It tends to really stick hard and why it’s always a good idea to wear an undershirt because if you don’t attach it right, it can irritate your skin.I got two different sizes. One is longer than the other if I need double support around my abdomen, but other overall it’s true to size if I need more of a compression. Overall washes in bag and hang to dry it’s still performing like a champ it is. Do you pay attention to the hip sizes? The first one I ordered thinking I needed to fetch I could have wrapped my entire family in.

Works as designed. Husband has a large hernia and wears a binder when we are going out in public. He didn’t have any issues with it rolling at the top or bottom. Gave him the support he was looking for.

Lightweight with excellent support!!
I don’t usually write long reviews, however; I thought these binders deserved a shout out!I bought the 6″ and 9″ widths. I just had an open incision complex hernia repair, and the hospital binders are SO WIDE (12″) and PAINFULLY uncomfortable! Not made for those of us with smaller torsos! I’m 5’2″. These binders are lightweight, offer great support, and are surprisingly comfy, even UNDER clothing! I machine washed them in warm water and hung them to dry! If you’re stuck having to wear a binder for any length of time, SIX months for me, give these a try! Of course…as they always say “check with your doctor first.”😊. I’m going to order more!

Always a fan of Nyortho as used it once before for post-surgery recovery, bought on Amazon as unable to find it in Singapore, glad that I bought it as it was perfect. Will buy more if Amazon can bring back the sale!
