Magical little hideaway that my granddaughter adores
I set this pod swing up in my granddaughter’s room, and it quickly became her favorite spot. The LED lighting makes it extra special at night—almost like a cozy reading nook that glows. She’s only 4, and I love that it hangs low enough for her to climb in and out safely without help. Most afternoons she curls up inside with a stack of books, and it gives her a quiet little retreat that feels like her own.Pros:• Beautiful LED lighting, especially fun in the dark• Low height makes it safe and easy for young kids to use independently• Creates a cozy, calming space for reading or quiet time• Fabric feels soft yet sturdyCons:• Light strip relies on batteries, so be prepared to replace or recharge often if it’s used daily• Works best indoors—outdoor use would require extra care to protect the lights from weatherComparison:It reminds me a bit of the old hammock chairs that were popular years ago, but this one is designed more with kids in mind—smaller, safer, and with the fun light-up twist.Final takeaway:This swing has been a wonderful addition to my granddaughter’s room. It’s playful, calming, and safe for her age, and it adds a little magic to her daily routine.

It’s okay for short term use, not good for outdoors…
It is okay for a toddler up to 100lbs. I overlooked this. The fabric feels like it might rip easily. The lights are a nice feature making a cost nook for reading or relaxing.

Fun & comfy “hang out” spot – light up swing
My 7yo daughter was so excited to have this set up and I was thrilled that it wasn’t super hard to do. It comes well packaged with an instruction booklet and everything needed to install using 3 methods – mounting on concrete ceiling, mounting on wooden ceiling, or hook strap on a tree or other weight bearing structure. We were able to use the included hook strap on her existing climber and she loves it. She says it’s comfortable and quite “this is the coolest thing!” She was able to easily use the remote to control the lights and she brought her iPad in there and hung out. The cotton material is high quality, durable, and stitched well – it’s comfortable and breathable for the child. Note that the weight limit indicated is 100 lbs.

Magical Sensory Swing with LED Lights – Cozy, Calming, and Built to Last
This light-up pod swing is an absolute hit in our home—it’s more than just a seat, it’s a sensory retreat designed to calm, engage, and comfort. The soft cotton material, reinforced stitching, and inflatable cushion make it feel secure and cozy, while the customizable LED lights add a soothing glow that transforms any space into a magical hideaway. We love the dual remote controls for adjusting color, brightness, and effects—one for the swing and one for the diving light under the cushion—which lets us tailor the mood to bedtime, reading time, or just relaxing. It was incredibly easy to install with the included straps and hardware, and at only 3.5 pounds, it’s light enough to move between rooms or hang outdoors when the weather is nice. Whether it’s used for sensory regulation or simply a fun reading nook, this swing is well-made, portable, and packed with features that make it a favorite for both kids and parents.

Add A Carseat Locking Clip & Then The Fun Begins
This swing is really fun. I wanted to give it five stars, but the strap it comes with needed something extra added to it, in order to keep the swing strap from sliding loose and the swing from falling down.Originally as it came, when my daughter sat in it the strap slid loose as soon as a small amount of weight was applied to the swing. So what I had to do was add a carseat seatbelt locking clip (see pictures). Once it had the locking clip, it then held in place no problem. But I would only recommend having your child climb in this swing if you have something to keep the strap secured from sliding, and the seat dropping.Aside from the installation issue, the swing is really fun for a young child. And it has a ton of fun light features. It has two remotes for the two different lights. Lots of colors, effects, and timers. The lights would be fun for many uses and occasions. Just use caution around anyone who has issues with strobing lights.Additionally, I would follow the weight recommendations. The seat insert is a round inflatable seat. And make sure follow all installation instructions. Then your child will be safe, while enjoying this super fun hanging pod with their own personal light show.

Great, but keep in mind that it’s small
Unfortunately, I didn’t read the description on this and realized once we got it that it was too small for my daughters. BUT, it was perfect for my neighbors’ daughter and she seems to love it. But keep in mind that it’s for smaller kids, not over 10-12.

Amazing quality swing!
I’m still figuring out the logistics of getting this swing hung up, but it comes with everything needed! The lights are very bright and the quality of the fabric is very sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’ll tear/rip easily. The colors are also so fun! I’ll have to take photos once I get it up and running! Out drop ceiling isn’t making this the easiest project haha!

Cool Swing. Probably More For Kids 5 and Under
This is a cool kid’s swing. It was very easy to install with open rafters. The seat is an inflatable cushion. A seat cover and a pump are included in the box as well as hanging hardware. The seat has it’s own light and remote. The swing has it’s own light and separate remote. The lights are extremely customizable. There are pockets for the remotes and for the battery packs. My child is 9. She says it’s a little cramped for her and is tight on her legs when she puts her legs out. I also noticed that the seam looks a little loose considering she has only used it for a couple of days. I think it would be awesome for 5 and under.
