Nice for Sensory Seekers
We put this on our Avenlur Indoor Play Gym as an added sensory item for breaks and as a place to go for reducing stress and sensory overload. So far it’s been great. My children haven’t used it as much as the swing, but they love filling it with blankets and toys, and my youngest likes curling up inside it. They absolutely love the led lights that came with it and the remote. Overall, it probably won’t stay up all the time as we have a variety of items to cycle through that so far have piqued more interest, but I’m happy with it and will keep it in the rotation.It was easy to install. I just wrapped the webbing around and clipped the carabiner to the loop.

Great swing for the price.
For the price this is great. 100lb weight max is realistic. Color is great and has had no fading thus far. It was easy to set up, bc we used different hardware. and inflating the cushion was pretty standard blow up plastic. It is fun for my kids, they enjoy and think it is comfortable. It is durable to handle just sitting or twirling and big swings. No tearing or any real sign of stress yet. It is big enough to comfortably sit a 5′, 98lb, 11 year old. So size is great.Why I docked a star?The hardware it comes with is not adjustable, so you are at max length no matter what, so either buy different hardware that adjusts your stand or where you are hanging it or lift the stand compensate.The fiber optic glowing cables is nothing like the pictures, tangles easily and has the battery life of a 45 minutes max. and doesn’t stay in the notch for it, so you have to tie it down. It also sheds the long fiber optic cables easily, so we threw it away after a single day because it isn’t worth the haste and mess. So if you want this for pictured cute lights, you are going to be disappointed.

Great idea, mixed execution; decent for the sale price
I really wanted to love this pod swing, and while there are some great features, a few design choices made it less ideal than I’d hoped. On the plus side, the color is lovely, and the fabric feels thick and durable (and washable, which is a must in this house). I appreciated that it came with both a ceiling-mount hardware option and an adjustable hanging strap; I ended up using the strap so I could move it around more easily. I also bought a separate 360-degree swivel hanging hardware which made a big difference for ease of use. The fiber-optic light strip was a fun idea, though I ended up repurposing it for my kids’ playhouse instead of using it with the swing.Now for the not-so-great parts: the stitching was… odd. Loose threads, some strange random stitching, and even a chunk of fabric that seemed totally out of place just sitting in the box. The inflatable seat base didn’t hold air properly, making it saggy and uncomfortable, and there aren’t any handles or reinforced grips at the pod opening, which made it tricky for my little ones to get settled inside. They kind of slumped over and didn’t seem super comfy. As for the light strip, it really didn’t feel safe for use INSIDE the swing (between the button battery and loose fiber-optic wires), plus it doesn’t look as though it was designed for that purpose). But then again, why include it with this swing only to use it on the exterior, where the pretty feature will only really be appreciated by whoever is NOT sitting on the swing? Seems like an odd choice.All that said, the swing does look cool and my kids still ask for it once in a while. For the sale price, it’s a decent occasional-use option, but not something I’d buy again at full price.

Excellent addition to a playroom
In my quest to make my basement more attractive as a play area for my grandkids, I ordered this and was very pleasantly surprised at how well made it is. The fabric is a durable canvas, pretty blue, trimmed with bright green and everything is stitched securely. I am very confident it will hold up to 100 lbs with no problem. We have 8 foot ceilings, and I was able to screw in the included heavy-weight hardware easily, and hanging the “pod” was simple. The adjustable hanging gear, made of seatbelt material is easy to adjust so little kids, like toddlers, can easily climb in, and bigger kids can enjoy something higher off the ground. The kids LOVE this, and I’m ordering more so everyone has a special “pod.” It’s been a long hard winter, and I think this pod reminds the kids of backyard tire swings, and other fun things for summer. They also enjoy having their own little space to read. This pod is advertised as being indoor/outdoor, and the material is thick enough for outdoors, so I can totally see hanging one from a tree. Besides attaching the hardware, there is an inflatable cushion that I had to blow up, and the only thing I worry about is getting a hole in it and having to patch. I am assuming the company sells replacements because it is necessary for everything to work, and the fabric looks like it will last a long time. On a final note, this comes with a small battery pack that is installed high up and attached lights that can be controlled. I didn’t hook any of that up, even though it looks pretty simple to do, because I don’t want to monitor small children around lights and batteries. I’m pretty sure I’ll never use them because the last thing the kids need is more stimulation.

Amazing for the price
We love this hammock chair. The lights make it fun for the kids and it is so comfy. They are able to use it as a sensory chair to help calm down and feel safe. It was easy to install if you know what you are doing. It has held up with my almost 50 lb child. No adults have tried for obvious reasons. Overall, great choice for the cost.
