Great, useful, MUST HAVE product
I am 140#. My recently bedridden husband is 270#. This placed under his back allowed me to turn him from one side to the other, with less strain on my back. SO glad this is available for the caregiver, the small wife who equally doesn’t have as much strength any longer, and to help the nurses and aides when they attend.

This item works well for moving an elderly or handicapped person around. I ordered this for a friend and he appreciated it very much. I have not used it myself. But from what he told me, it was a tremendous help. Amazon has so many important healthcare products on their site and with next day or a few days delivery if being drop shipped by another company, is great. They do have 90% of items available for delivery in as little as a few hours. I received something in 3 hours recently. Thank you Amazon!Happy Customer here….

Good tool to have!
This I really was not sure about. The only reason for 4 stars is the smell. When I first opened I had this strong polyurethane smell. I had to wash twice then spray thieves on it and let it air dry??? Finally, smell has disappeared. I was very concerned because it is for a bed bound patient and I worried about skin sensitivity. He has been fine. It really has been a great handy device for me to use in turning him. I am overly sensitive to smells so take that with a grain of salt but he has has zero complaints.

Didn’t work for us
First of all, right out of the packaging it smelled like the tire department of Pep boys.Tried it on my care receiver who has trouble turning from side to side in his hospital bed. I thought that this would work well, but it is very difficult if the person is falling backwards while you’re trying to fasten the cinch around the bed rail. He wound up leaning backwards at about a 45 degree angle which was as good as we could get with this strap. It was easier to push him up on his side from behind, hold him up with one arm, and let him hold the bed rails than use this. Too bad, I had hoped it would work.

Very Thankful That This Product Exists…
My mother was recently placed on hospice care and moved in with me. While the hospice nurses are a big help, they are only here a couple of times a week and I am the primary caregiver. I purchased this belt to be an extra set of helping hands for me when I’m trying to change my mother. She is completely bedridden and doesn’t even have the strength to roll to her side. This has been a tremendous help to me. I’m 60 years old and don’t have a lot of arm strength. But I can gently roll my mother to her side with this belt and attach the velcro straps to the railing of her hospital bed to keep her positioned while I’m taking care of her. I am so glad I made this purchase and would definitely recommend.
