I usually don’t bother leaving reviews unless something is unexpectedly good or really egregiously, obnoxiously bad. But in this case, I feel a review is necessary to correct some of the negative reviews, because this is actually a very good product that functions as it’s supposed to.Concerning the question of pills slipping from one compartment to the next: if the top is installed correctly, it’s impossible for a pill to slip over. You could barely get a sheet of paper into the gap between the underside of the top and the top surface of the compartment separators. If there is any significant gap, it means the top isn’t attached correctly.Concerning the difficulty of getting the top off: the top has a click-stop that locks it in place. It only turns about 1/8″ to get past that stop, and then it lifts up very easily. It does take some force to get over that click, but not a lot. I have some arthritis in my hands and I can do it easily with no pain whatever. I suspect that buyers who had trouble with it expected it to turn further (which it absolutely will not) and didn’t try just lifting after it clicked.I used to have a fairly similar item that really was tricky to open, but this one works much better. I highly recommend this pill dispenser. It works the way it’s supposed to, and reasonably easily.In the photos, you can see the two positions of the lock-tab: to the left is locked, to the right is unlocked. In the video, you can see that in the unlocked position, the top lifts off easily. In the other two shots, you can see that there are no gaps at the top big enough for a pill to slip through. QED.

Best thing money could by… super convenient!
This pill dispenser with 7 large compartments has made managing my weekly vitamins so much easier. Extremley Difficult to Open & Close
Very difficult to use as it no ease of opening and closing. Instructions are very confusing and build quality makes it extremely difficult to open & close. As far as Travelbility, storage capacity & labeling is great but cant use it abd do much if its not opening and shutting easy.

Great product. (The instructions are not-so-great, so I’ve added my own plus a video tutorial.)
Works beautifully! I wish the instructions were clearer about how to open it, but DO NOT TRY TO PULL IT OPEN. Focus on the lower ring of the lid, and turn it right to open it. You may find it easier if you rest your thumb against the raised loop piece. Don’t overthink it. The container holds more than most pill minders, and it’s a very nice quality. I didn’t attach the carrying loop because I don’t have a need for it.(Please excuse the quality of my video.)

Worth buying
Kiss all the pharmacy bottles goodbye! I was tired of my nightstand being cluttered with pill bottles. I bought this and it does the job. The lid is a little weird to get off and I wish the turning lid was a little more locked into position until moved. Comes with labels. I personally peeled my prescription labels off and cute them to size to stick on the dispenser bottle.

A must have for those who need an easy travel pill container!
This pill dispenser/organizer is amazing and it helps me to actually to remember to take my meds. It is a creative way to stay organized. Also the plastic is very durable. It’s also easy to travel with. Easy to use and the lid clicks in to place perfectly so the pills don’t spill out.

Would not recommend
Very poorly made. The snap top for meds doesn’t secure meds, can pop open too easily.Open and screw close is not user friendly, especially for arthritis patients.Would not recommend using this product.
