Customers find the pill dispenser great for medication reminders and appreciate its accuracy as a timer. The functionality and ease of use receive mixed feedback – while some say it works well and is easy to set up, others report it stops working and find it difficult to program. The alarm sound and volume also get mixed reviews, with some saying it’s loud enough to notice while others find it too quiet. The alarm settings and overall quality receive both positive and negative feedback.

Perfect device for our purposes. Must-have for us.
This reminder device has helped us immensely. Some have had difficulties setting it up, which I can understand after having done so. But what made it very easy for me (and I set up 4 alarms on the first try) was the Set-up Video available by the Seller on the Amazon item’s page.I watched and stopped the video at every step with the device in hand. If I didn’t understand a step, I backed up the video and watched it again. I never looked at the printed instructions that came with the device, but I am definitely saving them for future reference.Working GREAT for us: 8am, 12noon, 4pm, and 8pm.Alarm lasts 60 seconds, and is an appropriate sound level. Can be silenced by pressing the middle button.Very grateful to have this device.

Ease of use.
Works GREAT. Alert bell can be heard all over the house which makes it an excellent device to have as a reminder.Easy to set if you read the instructions first. Wish I had bought earlier!Highly recommend this seller and product!!!

Faulty out of the box
I accidentally forgot to open this timer and try to use it before the return deadline passed. Unfortunately it seems to be faulty and is completely unusable. The numbers only appear on half of the screen. Such a waste of $18.99.

The timer works well but cheaply made and stand broke almost immediately
I still gave it 4 stars because the timer itself works great. Eight alarms is more than enough for my doses, but I find I only use the countdown timer because my first dose of the day varies, and I am not willing to set it up every day. However; if your dose times never vary it will be perfect for you! And if they DO vary like me, the countdown timer is flawless and easy to use. My only issue with this timer, and I feel like it’s a big one, is the stand broke almost immediately. It is attached by a really tiny plastic peg that simply broke off a few days after I had my timer. I was able to use it for another few weeks with only one peg in, but as you would suspect, that one broke as well. It has a fairly strong magnet on the back, but my bedside has no surface to put it on. You can also hang it, but again, no place for me to hang. I ended up using heavy-duty velcro to attach it to my hospital table. It seems to be doing okay, but I’ve only had it there for a few hours. I will update if there is a problem. I feel like I shouldn’t have to alter and troubleshoot this product. I think they tried to have too many ways to use it, and for that reason it is flimsy. I still recommend this product, but know what you are getting. It will break, but it won’t affect the operation of the timer — just where you can put it and see it.

Small but works
I do like this timer.I bought it to use in my classroom instead of my phone for all my transitions. First issue I have with it is it will not go off of 24-hour time. Which is hard for the students to read. Second thing is I wish it was a little bigger, so I could use it as a classroom clock as well. Fourth thing I wish that I could turn it off Saturday and Sunday. The alarms are just on for whatever time you set them.

A great help!
While it was a bit frustrating to set up, I figured it out and it’s been a great help to me. After recent surgery, I need to apply eyedrops every four hours. The timer has taken the stress out of trying to remember to use them as scheduled.PS: There is a video on YouTube that will talk you through the set up step by step.

Used for years for Parkinsons husband & now glad to have one for me
This timer now has clear directions (as they point out, in English) for setting the clock and for setting each pill reminder (from one to eight times a day), and a choice of 12 hour or 24 hour time display. Between chimes to remind of taking a pill or pills, it also shows the regular clock time in between. It has a little fold-out stand for setting it on a table, which folds flat for carrying it in your pocket.I tried the vibrating wrist band, which is very cool, but my illness makes my eyes blurry so the large numbers on this despite it’s pocket size are great for me.The only down side on this new one is that the battery didn’t work, but it was very easy to put in a new AA battery (the battery door is very easy to open and slide back in place after insertion of a new battery).Very helpful as a pill reminder esp for an old person with many pills like me.

Had problems programming the alarms until I put it on the 24 hour clock. Then it was easy. I have tried quite a few alarms of this type and this is by far the best. The rest are all in the garbage, because of my inability to program them. This has good instructions and is built to American standards. I keep it close and always hear the alarm, even if the TV is on. It is not loud but I can hear it from the second floor of my home. The only negative is that I must keep the instructions for future programming. I expect the battery to last more than 1 year. I will update when I need to replace it.
