Safety, reliability and measurements
I like everything about this product. It does exactly what it was supposed to do it. Goes around my husband’s chest. He had a near full new replacement, and this allows me to help pull him up from a lower chair position, or help him in and out of the car, or in and out of bed, and it gives a safety feature. Peace of mind to both myself and my husband and its reliability is great for both of us, because he’s a much taller bigger man than I am and I wouldn’t be able to do it without the belt, I wouldn’t be able to help him without the belt and the best bonus for my husband is that he’s lost weight during this process, and he knows it because he’s actually having to adjust the belt. Because it keeps getting looser and looser, so I would recommend it to anyone who his head physical therapy is needs a belt

Simple, easy to clean
The same belt I use as an Acute Care Physical Therapist in the hospital. I bought this one for my grandfather to use in the hospital. Works great and improves safety for my family and caregivers when showering my grandfather

Great Assist
This is similar to the one our PT had in the hospital for my partner’s stay. I have more confidence in helping her walk and keep her balance with this belt. I like that it’s not cloth so it can easily be sanitized with the wipe of a cloth. It closes tightly and I feel secure that it will stay in place, even when I have to pull from the back to steady her.

Easy to clean, harder to use
The buckle isn’t as easy to use as the typical metal toothed clasp, but this gets the job done and can be sanitized between patients, which is the most important!

Easy to use without slipping
I ordered this product after seeing that it matched the type of gait belt that I used while an inpatient in a rehabilitation hospital. I had previously tried the woven gait belt. It has a clasp with teeth for holding them in place. I found this to be awkward and often times i could not get the belt as tight as was desired. With this product, this was not a problem. The belt was easily adjustable and stayed in place once the desired tension was achieved. I was able to use the belt to get in and out of the shower. There is a plastic coating over the belt so that it is waterproof . The ability to where the belt in and out of the shower provides an extra degree of comfort in case there is a slip either going into or out of the shower. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is in need of a gait belt.

Long! Poor quality control.
If you treat bariatric patients this will work. The buckle seam stitching on mine is sloppy. It really should not have passed quality control. It should have been discounted and sold as a factory second. Come on Posey step it up!
