perfect for immobile people
I have had this several months. This has been a game changer for myself, hospice employees and other care takers. This is great to move my mother with Parkinson’s who is in a lot of pain so we try not to pull on her when we don’t have to. I am not a healthy person and I can pull her up on my own. slides very easy. water proof but we put a big pad over it. Everyone that is taking care of a bed ridden person should have one of these. Its well made. My mother only weighs 135lbs and about 4’9 so I am not sure about anyone that has a booty as big as mine.

It worked very well for a person who cannot help you move them in bed and esp if your alone and not very strong- its washable but the dryer will destroy it and they don’t tell you that😩

VERY Well Made~~~~~~
This arrived with no loose or fly away stitches hanging off. All the stitching and seams are well done and secure. My husband is ill and this is very useful for me to help when he has trouble getting up, rolling side to side and more. We also have an almost 7 year old Boston Terrier who weighs 35 lbs with disc issues in his neck and this positioning pad is very helpful to help me help him getting up and down and getting him in and out of the car safely to go to the vet. It can be used as a sling for heavier pets. All in all this a VERY well made positioning pad that is very helpful to have if you have people and/or pets with mobility issues. It can also be utilized to help drag heavy items inside and outside of your home. This is a very versatile item that can be utilized in endless ways. I highly recommend this positioning pad!

Not good for raising beds.
This lifter is not good for beds that raise from the head or legs. The material is silky making the patient slide down. My mother actually slipped on the floor as she was trying to sit on the bed. I wish the lifter/turning sheet had a rubbery side so it stays in place on the bed or any surface so the patient does slide down and fall.
