Great Item With Multiple Uses!
This Positioning Bed Pad with 8 handles is a great item! It seems to be a quality item with nice material and stitching. I ordered this due to a recent need in my household. I showed it to 2 RN’s, One LPN, and two CNA’s. They all liked it and thought it was a good idea to have this on hand. Whether you need this to help position someone, or as a washable bed protector, it will be a great help. I included two pictures. One is of the product still folded but showing handles and the two sides with different material. The other picture is of the bed pad with a life size character on it. My character is 5 feet 5 inches tall. The size seem just right with the handles placed where they will help with support and weight distribution! PLEASE NOTE! The darker side is the absorbent side. I had the lighter side up in my demo photo. The dark side instantly absorbed the cup of water I poured on it to test it! The lighter side repelled water, and I noticed that the water from the darker side did not leak through the other side! This bed pad is washable so you can use it over and over! I see other uses for this bed pad. This would be great to use for moving sick pets including large dogs! It would also be good under a pet that is sick or not house broken. It can be a great seat cover for pets or messy passengers in your car! This is very useful! I found this to be a great item with multiple uses!

Plenty large enough!
I have not had experience in health care and therefore have nothing to compare the bed pad to.This pad is quite large with ample number of well sewn on handles. The backing is non slip so I wondered how it would be trying to reposition a patient. When I poured water onto it, it soaked up quickly and did not leak through. It did remain wet and cold.

I like the size of this bed pad and that the material appears soft. I will admit, the material isn’t typical to the bed pads I am most familiar with; pads that have a more plastic material on one side and a cotton material on the opposite side. I am curious about its ability to absorb liquids but haven’t had an opportunity to test that feature. I did wash it as soon as it arrived. It washed up well and dried easily. The handles are sturdy and sewn well to the pad. I haven’t been able to test the absorbency so I’ve left a 4/5 rating for the quality of the sewing and quilting of the pad.

Good sized Bed Pad with Handles To Help with Positioning and Incontinence
As a retired nurse who is now caring for an elderly mother and disabled brother, I know how invaluable these bed pads with handles can be. Especially for my brother who weighs over 200 lbs. Although he is not incontinent, he does have occasional accidents. Helping him shift can be difficult but this pad with the included handles makes that job much easier. The handles on both sides make it easy for two people to help move someone or to reach over and help turn the person. I love that these are reusable and machine washable which makes it well worth the cost. Disposable incontinence pads can be pretty expensive and be used up quickly. So far the pad is holding up very well and my brother says the material is soft and comfortable. Not too sure about the absorbability yet as he has not had any accidents but the pad is a good size and will help protect the bedding underneath.

Excellent for elderly care
This bed pad is a great choice.Our 91-year-old mom spends most of her time in bed, and this makes repositioning her so much easier.The handles are strong and well-placed, the material feels durable, and it washes perfectly. Very practical and comfortable.

Non slippery bed positioning pad that may be more appealing to some patients
I’m so glad I found this bed pad. We used another one that had slippery fabric on both sides which was rejected by the patient because it felt unfamiliar and unsafe. I’m not claiming it is unsafe, just that the patient didn’t want it used on them. This bed pad has a flannel like feel on both sides so it feels more familiar and safer to the patient. The stitching is reinforced all around the handles and throughout the pad making it stronger. It’s being used on a petite patient, but the pad size seems it might be appropriate for an XL+ patient. The only thing I wish for is padded handles to make lifting more comfortable. We are happy with this bed pad and will buy more in the future.
