Customers say

Customers find these headphones deliver decent sound quality with good range from deep bass to higher frequencies and can handle loud feeds, while being comfortable and offering great value for money. The build quality is excellent, and they work particularly well for mixing and mastering. The noise cancellation receives mixed reviews – while some praise the background noise isolation, others report poor outside noise elimination. The cord length is also mixed, with customers appreciating the long cable but noting it’s not detachable. Durability is a concern, with multiple customers reporting the headphones breaking after two months of use.

    Great Deal!
When I purchased these headphones two months ago, they were only $30, which is a great deal for their quality. They sound great for budget headphones. They have excellent bass response, and though the highs and mids are a little lacking, for thirty dollars I don’t care so much. They are very lightweight and have an auto fit headband which is really nice. The earpads are comfortable. The materials feel strong and durable. I use these when I am recording someone other than myself and I need to hear their performance as it is being recorded. These are semi-open headphones, which means that they don’t isolate and they leak noise, so I don’t recommend these for tracking with a microphone. Closed-back headphones would be better suited for that purpose. I don’t mix with these so I cannot provide information about that. The only issue I have had so far is that I have not figured out how the cable detaches. I don’t know if it really does detach. Overall, they are great headphones for the price.

These work really well for mixing and mastering
These work really well for mixing and mastering. Like any listening/monitoring environment, you’ll have to spend some time listening to music to understand them. I don’t care how much you spend on headphones or wall treatment; you still will need to learn your monitoring environment. With that said. I’m making the best sounding records I’ve ever made that stack up with anything commercially released.

    Wow great sound and value!
I needed a pair of headphones for recording and listening to music. After seeing the Presonus hd5 headphones and all the good reviews I thought at the great price I would try them. So glad that I did.My recommendation is that these are really nice headphones and a great value.—

Great sound quality for the price tag
Really good sound quality once broke in a little. I could see using for both studio/mixing and for everyday use. Sturdy build. A little heavy. Very comfortable though. Only 4 stars because the battery life is lacking compared to other brands in this category. Not as hi fidelity as my fostex I use for mixing but they are too far off and probably will break in a bit more with time. I recommend these on sound quality for the price alone. Blew jbl out of the water and even beats at the same price tag. Great for traveling. Great quality over all.

Worth the price, great for tracking
For the price, it’s a great set of headphones. I use them in the studio all the time. Nice long cable for studio work, too long for a pair of street headphones, but that’s not why I got them. Good range of sound, respectable bass, big but very comfortable. Pretty sturdy, I’ve used them for several months and there’s not much wear and tear. Not quite high quality enough for mixing (to be expected at this price) but I use them all the time for studio monitors and engineering. Bang for the buck, they’re totally worth it.

Wannabe MDR-V6s with the wrong corners cut
Trying to be MDR-V6 clones but not quite cutting it. The biggest issue is actually the really cheap ear pads that hermetically seal to your ears and keep all outside sound out and all inside sound in, really deadening the soundstage, and actually hurting your ears with how powerful the sound pressure can be even at low volume.Otherwise they seem well manufactured and durable. I have a larger sized head and these would be fairly comfortable and adjustable if not for the poor earpads sealing my ears in. I might try to find some compatible earpads myself and see if a more open foam would fix my concerns, even if they have less longevity.

Build Quality 5/5I was sceptical until I held these in my hands, but these are built like the proverbial brick $***house. They’re going to take a fair amount of force to bust these babies. Only issue really is the ear-pads could be made of better material than the Pleather ones supplied.Comfort 5/5Very nice for mine. They are quite weighty which may put some people off, but I like a solid comfortable pair of cans which is what these are.Audio Quality 4/5These are not going to be the very best sounding headphones, but I would put them up against any Bluetooth/Noise cancelling headphones within the $100-$250 range and they would be holding their own with a bees dick of difference.Features and Accessories 3/5This is where the headphones fall down a little. Micro USB jack for charging? Seriously? that’s so 2012. The Headphone Jack cord is a metre too short and flimsy feeling. The supplied zip-up case is nice. Noise Cancelling switch is nice, If I was to change something it would be to put the on switch as a notch on the NC switch, rather than a long press on the side of the headphones (It’s a bit silly where it is, what happens if the switch is accidently activated, let say when someone stashes it in a school backpack and the battery gets drained!) I know there’s other features that some other brands have, but as long as the bluetooth and the NC works, that’s all you really need.Value for money 6/5I got these for $65, Let me say that again – $65!!! Looking at the build quality and the lovely case included I seriously doubt you could buy the materials for that. It’s a ‘No-Brainer’ People!Personal gripe with many of these types of headphones these days is the lack of a user replaceable battery! Seriously these headphones look to be built to last a lifetime. Shame that the rechargeable battery stuck inside will expand/leak long before anything else breaks.
