Battery door will Not stay on!!!
It works well as far as determining SAT. But the doggone battery door falls off at the Slightest Touch!!

It kept falling apart, the battery cover would not stay on,
I didn’t like that it shut down before I got a reading on it and the battery cover plate kept falling off. Very poor quality. Not happy at all.

Not Reliable!
My doctor suggested that I buy a Pulse Oximeter and use it frequently during the day. Unfortunately, I cannot trust the reliability of this oximeter. It will not work if my fingers are cold, which I can understand. Even when my fingers are warm, it takes several tries to get any reading at all. I have gotten oxygen readings as low as 77 with a heart rate over 250. When the visiting nurses take a reading with their oximeter, the figures are not the same as those shown on my oximeter; and I am checked by different nurses with different oximeters 5 days per week. Their readings are consistent with the other nurses, but not mine. I definitely do not recommend this product.

My fingers are too thin to hold securely in place
I didn’t like the fact that my fingers wouldn’t feel secure in the meter and I need accurate readings.

Not completely accurate
It doesn’t look like this oximeter is completely accurate. It always gives a lower reading for both, oxygen saturation level and pulse than my other one, and my other one is most certainly reliable as it measures the same as at the doctor’s office.My oxygen level is 99 on my other one, and 96 on this one. It actually started at 93 which scared the heck out of me.Pulse shows 55, I’ve never had a pulse that low. My other one shows 67.Batteries are not included. It takes two AAA batteries.The little compartment the batteries are in is a little tricky to close but once you figure it out, it does stay closed.
