Like a portable massage, made my back feel great
So I will preface this by saying that I have recommended TENS units for patients before (I know what it is, and I know there is good science behind it). However, I had never actually tried it myself. However, some nagging injuries seem to be piling up as I get older, so I figured I would give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. This was easy to setup and actually felt like I was getting a massage. I think I preferred the EMS setting with high heat, but TENS with low heat also felt very nice.I used it first on my low back, and then also tried it about my knee that I had injured recently. Was easiest to use on my back since there isn’t much hair to pull on the pads, but it worked well around my knee as well. Has a nice convenient pouch for carrying and easily chargers via USB C. It made my aches and pains better, and I can completely understand how his helps with chronic pain after finally seeing what it feels like myself. Will definitely continue to use myself and continue to recommend!

Gets the knots out
Works great, but she came with some extra pads instead of having to buy them so quickly

So many issues
This item doesn’t use any of the standard TENS pad replacements. Instead they use a gel pad that must be replaced. When I tried to find how to replace pads, I was unable to do so. When I contacted customer service, they told me the replacements pads were not available yet. The device uses an unusual set of pads that are unwieldy to use. I even found the controls somewhat confusing to use based on how it responded to my tapping the control buttons. It’s a nice looking device but there are less expensice easier to use devices out there.

Muscle relief
The Pure Enrichment Pure Pulse Trio Tens & Ems Muscle Stimulator does just that, with heat + muscle stimulation with electrical pulse help relief muscle pain and more. It can be used in different places for treatment. There are multiple settings for you to use and also safety instructions for where not to and how to use. Before using it, you should read all instructions and if you are sure, consult with your doctor if you can use this TENS unit. For the most part it is safe. I used it to help stimulate my bad back muscles and it was soothing. I recommend this.

Works well, has heat function…at a premium
The good.-Works well as a TENS unit. The intensity can be set quite high compared to other units.-Unit looks nice and fairly easy to use.-Charges with USB C and lasts for quite a few sessions before needing to recharge.-Has heat function. The pads warm quickly and cycles on for about 3-4 minutes and off for 3-4 minutes.-Has a clip to hook onto pantwaist or belt. The bad…and these are definitely dealbreakers for meThe pads: The pads are proprietary with no replacements currently. They connect through the same port as the charging port (USB C). They go to a pad that does not have any gel adhesive. You have to apply the gel pads on the electrode pads before use. You’d have to find these pads somewhere to replace them…I could not find any.The clip: You attach the clip. To the back. Mine kept falling off so I tried to reinsert the clip, then it broke. So this was totally useless and a weak bracket that was supposed to hold the clip onto the unit. The price: Currently a price of 100$ is quite steep for the added function of heat and only 2-channels. There are 4-channel units for about half the cost. I guess you pay more for the heating option. The unit can only do the elecrical stimulation or the heat. You can’t use them at the same time.I’ve used an old reliable 2-channel, analog unit and a more current 4-channel, rechargeable, digital unit and theyvwork great and have a vast source of replacement pads. The pads can be cleaned with dishsoap and air dry with good results for re-use. But that only lasts for so long and replacing the electrodes are inevitable. Even with gel pads available it would be a bit cumbersome and troubling to replace. But the extra cost for just the heat option is still a bit much.

One annoying thing, but the rest was great.
CONTROL UNITNavigation through the settings of the unit is based on a forward/back navigation scheme and is simple enough to learn even without the manual. The display will indicate what program you have selected and detail its settings.DUAL CHANNELThe unit powers two channels and although both are connected to the same lead wires you may choose not to activate one channel and can leave it detached (the system will not activate electrodes unless it sense they are attached).ELECTRODE & GEL PADSThis unit requires the use of separate gel pads between the skin and the electrode. The electrode itself is not adhesive nor is it removeable from the lead wire assembly. The pads are a pain to work with; they will roll and stick together and you’ll need to keep track of two small plastic covers per pad for later storage. Take care of them to extend their life but know that you will need replacements. You’re also only provided with one size of electrode. This was the only complaint I had and because I found it so annoying I chose to deduct a star.PROGRAMSI cant say that I liked most of the programs but then finding one that works out of a variety is how you’re meant to use a TENS machine, at least that’s how I see it. The ones I didn’t like were pretty much all due to the same reason which was extreme changes in intensity and rhythm. I developed this anticipation knowing that one of the cycles was going to hit hard as it changed and just didn’t care for it. But I did find a few that worked on my knee and that’s good enough for me.SAFETYThe manual contains 2 pages worth of “do not use” warnings, and 3 pages of precautions. Some of these look serious so this is one of those times I actually wanted to read the manual. You may want to be speaking to a doctor or therapist before using a device like this.TAMPER EVIDENT?Somewhat. No seal on box. No seals on bags containing the control unit and electrodes. Gel pads are in a sealed pouch.
