Works Great!
Works great. It’s long enough to mold around my sprained ankle.

Great for lunchboxes and pickleball facial injuries
My daughter was using the rigid blue-ice in my grandson’s lunchbox, which not only took up more space than necessary, it would not mold around his food items. I bought her these and they fit perfectly in his lunchbox. I also carry one with me in my cooler playing pickleball. Yes, it keeps my drinks and snacks cold, but it also useful for the pickleball players I hit in the face. (Just kidding. I only hit people below the knee.)

Good compress
I have only used this as an ice pack but it works really well. I like that it is soft and not too heavy. I haven’t tried to use it as a hot pack.

Good but small
A lot smaller than I thought but it’s good quality and does the job, just for smaller areas.

Very Cheap and Small
I regret purchasing this hot/cold pack. The company lied regarding the size. It is smaller than advertised and cheaply made with a scant amount of gel inside.

DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK IF IN MICROWAVE!
These have just arrived a couple days prior. We use these at work so I ordered four of the 4″x6″ and one additional slightly bigger. I placed by first pack in the microwave for one minute. I did not walk away from it while it was in the microwave but I did turn by back and occupied myself with something else. I have a very small petite microwave I only use for reheating leftovers or cooking my Healthy Choice meals. I suddenly heard a loud pop and immediately opened the microwave doors only to see the packet exploded in my microwave. It has 6-7 seconds left. The same brand and size I use at work, I must heat initially at one minute then additional time thereafter. We have a microwave at work dedicated only to be used for heating our gel packs so it too is a petite microwave. Thankfully it cleaned up easily and quickly. I placed the second 4″x6″ pack in the microwave and watched it the entire time. Overall, it adequately heated to my comfort level at 21 seconds. I do blame myself for the explosion as I should never have turned my back. These gel packs will serve by intended purposes so I still gave my item review a 5 star. I do recommend these for anyone in need of gel packs. They are a little pricey for the smaller ones but I wanted them so I proceeded with my purchase.

Very thin
Very thin! I use these for headache relief during the night, and have bought in this brand in the past. Now they are super thin and do not hold the cold for long at all. It’s fine if you don’t want the cold pack to be very cold or last long, but using them to control a longer type of headache just won’t do the trick. Sad because this brand has held up quality wise. 3 stars because the 4×6 size is good for the forehead, but wish they were made thicker, as in the past.

They’re OK. They do the job, however the plastic bag the gel is in isn’t soft plastic, so it does press into the skin, making it uncomfortable it still usable. Thank you
