I really liked this book. I have worked in the fitness and health industry for nearly thirty years. My father had diabetes and was on dialysis three times a week for the last five years of his life. I recently became borderline Diabetic and scared me. I know a lot about diabetes, but this book had a lot more information for me then I knew. The deeper knowledge she shared about stress and blood sugar was extremely important for me to learn. I read this on Kindle but is a book I am ordering now in Paperback as well to have on my shelf. I started skipping breakfast and doing that intermittent fasting thing from the book and my sugar levels actually dropped i wasn’t expecting it to be that simple. The plant based meal planning section was a wake up call too i had no clue how much junk i was eating till i tracked it the way they suggest. The part about emotional eating nailed me dead on about late night snacks being tied to stress and their tips actually helped me stop raiding the fridge at 11 PM.
