    Helpful during emergencies.
These are easy to use and cut well as long as you get the technic and patience to learn to use them. They can be confortable to medium hand sizes mostly. The handle is plastic, and may not have enough grip for small or big hands. They help cut some things much better (at a reduced space or when having pain on hands). The quality is good. They are not too sharp nor too dull. They don’t weight too much.

    Smart Design for Arthritis
Not your everyday knife design! We got these for our aging parents, and plan to offer them as a gift. They have arthritis and will appreciate the smart, ergonomic design of these knives. They definitely take a little getting used to, and don’t fit in the dishwasher that well, but that is a small price to pay for comfort! Seems sharp and durable, and have not rusted.

Takes the Strain Off of Your Wrists
This is my second egonotic product, and I’m equally pleased with this one, a right angle knife meant to take the burden off of your wrists.Any product that allows you to maintain your daily, standard of living and keep you independent gets a huge thumbs up for me. And this one certainly does.I have major pain issues as a result of cancer treatment. I also have arthritis, so pain is an everyday, every minute thing for me. This goes in direct opposition to the fact that I love to cook and chopping and mincing are a huge part of my creations. I really believe that what often makes a meal is people taking the time to cut up items into tiny, bite-sized pieces. Try that when your wrists are screaming in pain. I found myself avoiding something I loved to do so much. This knife set takes the weight off of your wrists, just by the fact that the blade is now at a right angle. I don’t have to contort my wrist, if even ever so slightly, which takes great strain off of the area. I made simple tuna fish which, for me, includes minced onion, pickles, carrots and celery. I hadn’t even realized that recently I’d stopped using those little extras, and for me, that makes all the difference.Anything that helps you keep your independence and/or decreases pain is a huge win.

    These are ok
Using these knife take some getting used to.Overall quality is ok. The knife could be sharpened a little bit better and the handle are just plastic. These do come with some sheath for added safety.Using them is different and as of now I don’t really have an issue using a regular knife. I do have some issues with my shoulders and arms but they are not at a point where I would need to use these.I guess if you really need these because you can’t use a regular knife then these might be ok. If not, just stick to a regular knife until you no longer can.

Game-Changer for People with Wrist Pain – Comfortable, Safe, and Effective
I’ve been struggling with carpal tunnel in both wrists for years, and simple kitchen tasks like chopping vegetables or slicing fruit have become more painful and frustrating over time. I was hesitant to try yet another “ergonomic” gadget, but this knife set truly lives up to its promise. Designed by a certified occupational therapist, these knives are clearly made with real accessibility and comfort in mind. The right-angle handle design puts your hand and wrist in a natural, neutral position, which means I can cut, slice, and chop with far less strain or discomfort than a traditional knife. No awkward angles or painful pressure on my wrists-just smooth, controlled motion. The variety pack is fantastic-the serrated blade works great for bread, tomatoes, and softer items, while the chopping blade is perfect for vegetables and fruits. Both are sharp, sturdy, and easy to use. I also love that they come with protective sheaths, which makes them easy to store and safer to handle. These knives have made cooking enjoyable again. If you deal with wrist pain, arthritis, carpal tunnel, or limited grip strength, I can’t recommend this set enough. It’s not just another gimmick-it’s a well-thought-out tool that actually works.

Very different shaped knives that MAY help some hands
This set of two right hand Ergonotic Ergonomic knives can make cutting a bit easier if you have a need for a different angle to hold your knife. I used them to cut a salad – cucumbers, lettuce, and tomatoes. These knives are sharp. That could have been why the veggies were easy to cut vs my straight knife. The way you hold the knife allows you to rock back pulling the knife toward you instead of just pushing down. You are kind of holding it like a car shifter or joystick. I would have liked to see the knife curved a bit though to make the rocking a bit easier. Overall it did make the salad easier to cut.The handle on these is just not that big around for a solid grip as my knife for cutting through roasts is. Cutting vegetables is one thing, but having to hold a big 6 pound roast with one hand and using this small thin knives to slice through almost frozen meat is another thing…and it does not seem like this knife is sturdy and controllable enough for that task.I did not see instructions on the package on how to sharpen this knives. I went onto the website ergonotic . com and looked for more information, but there isn’t much there yet. It would have been nice to learn more about the OT and the Engineer (what type of engineer) who developed these products and why they think this knife set and other items are more ergonomic than standard items. There was not a lot of explanation.Overall they are sharp knives and get the job done for items that are small and need a sharp knife. I just did not see any benefit for the most part. It MAY help some people.
