Will not connect – completely useless
Complete garbage. Will not connect to my system and bought after realizing the smart outdoor plug needed the bridge. After 10+ tries an and few hours of effort, could not set it up. Missed my return window for the outdoor smart plug.

Do not purchase. Ring app incompatible with Device.
Do not purchase. Ring Bridge Gen 2 does not connect through the app. It appears the app is not yet compatible with the newer model.I tried all the connected guides through Ring, Reddit, and ChatGPT.Unfortunately will be returning all smart lighting devices I purchased with this device as well.I am disappointed in Ring due to my overall great experience with their cameras. Please fix the issue Ring.

Not a replacement for the first gen bridge
With the second generation release of this product, ring has changed the technology behind it entirely. This is not a bridge in the traditional sense. This is a repeater/extender for the Amazon sidewalk Network. Your ring devices will not connect to this like it did with the first generation. To connect your ring devices you need to delete the device and then reinstall them choosing Amazon sidewalk as the connection type.This device is meant for those with weak signals even on Ring’s extensive Amazon sidewalk infrastructure. Overall setting it up is easy, but after adding it to the Ring app there is no additional configuration other than to change the name.

Did not work.
Returned. I’m a patient person but after 3 reboots and 48 hours of “updating,” I’m done. Bridge was within three feet of router operating at 100 mbs. download. As noted by other reviewers this product need a lot more work. I would not recommend purchase.

Will not connect to wifi
Should be 0. Product refuses to connect to my wifi. When setting up Product it says my phone is not connected to 2.5g when in fact it is and working correctly. Waste of money. DO NOT PURCHASE RING PRODUCTS

No good upgrades.
Previous Ring Bridge works better than this one. On my experience with this device, it’s doesn’t works with smart lights or devices older than 2 years. It’s has a night light with no option to turn it off.
