Why did you pick this product vs others?:Tired of wearing my clunky Fitbit watch, I was intrigued by how a smart ring would work (I also have a beautiful Tissot watch I haven’t worn in 7 years). Most rings seemed to be in the $300-450 range, which I’m not quite willing to part with. So when I saw this ring was less than $75, I figured why not! My main tracking focus is sleeping, walking, and swimming, so imagine my disappointment when swimming wasn’t a choice in the “sports” list (but mountaineering, golf, and ropeskipping are…). Great ring, but be aware
I was so excited to get this ring and I read the good reviews about it, so I decided to buy it. My main reason for purchasing it was to track my sleep because I always wake up tired and just feel tired throughout the day so I wanted to make sure I’m getting a good night’s sleep. It tracks your light sleeping, deep sleeping and REM for the entire night, which I appreciated. I really wanted to love this ring HOWEVER, I just noticed that it turned my finger orange around the outline of this ring.Other than that issue, I love the functionality of the ring and all the measurements it takes and the longevity of the battery life. Unfortunately, I will have to return this ring.

Ring is useless without software
The ring itself is very comfortable. I wanted the sizing kit but it came without one. I wear it on my middle finger. The first week went well. The battery lasted 5 days before I had to charge. The second week after about three days I checked and the ring was at less than 30 percent. I charged it again. The problem is the software. After two weeks the software stopped working. My phone got an update and I had to reboot. After the reboot the app fails to load. I can see the ring communicating with the app but the app isn’t synchronizing and disappears from the screen. After uninstall and install the app ran again but no historical data. The data it was collecting was not as accurate as my smart watch. The purpose of the ring for me was to track sleep data primarily. It definitely was not accurate. Would fail to record wake time and steps on several occasions.
