Works perfectly! All flip tops plus prying the top off steel cut oats!
This tool is so well designed. Nice heavy duty handle with wolfed hooks for flip tops and more. It saves my fingernails and it smoothly opens all of them including cans that have lids inset in the top. Anything you would pry open. Paint cans too! Easy to grip, even with sore knuckles. Well worth the cost. Love, love, LOVE!!!

What a relief!
It works great! Made in Britain. Easy open box for arthritic hands. Lids just pop up. Impressive and worth the extra money over cheap Asian imports which I try to avoid.

So simple, so helpful!
I injured my hand & it’s been awful trying to open cans, especially the first-thing-in-the-morning cat food. But the kitties gotta eat! So I went looking for something to ease the strain on my hand & wrist. It’s very sturdy and easy to use. A little effort is needed for the final pull to remove the lid, but that’s ok, the painful part was always peeling it back.Do wish there were more color options, honestly it doesn’t matter but still, not much to choose from and all are rather dull. But I’m so happy I got this little tool! It’s made my mornings soooo much easier.

Works great
Bought this for my wife to open the cat food cans, and she loves it. No more broken fingernails, also helps greatly with arthritic hands.

Outstanding tab opener.
This works great! Takes a couple of uses to learn how to do the start and second positioning to work best, but then it makes opening those hard-to-open pull tab cans.

Cute and functional, but not perfect
This little cat can opener is honestly adorable. The design is super charming and adds a bit of personality to the kitchen. I’ve already gotten a few comments on it when friends came over. It definitely stands out from the usual boring kitchen tools, and it looks great sitting on the counter.Functionally, it gets the job done. It opens cans smoothly for the most part, and I haven’t had any major issues with sharp edges or missed cuts. That said, it can feel a little awkward to grip if you have larger hands, and once or twice it slipped while I was trying to get a clean start on a can. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind.Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s affordable, fun, and works well enough for daily use. If you’re into cute kitchen gadgets or just want something that makes opening cans a little less dull, this is a solid pick.

I have been having increasing trouble opening ring pull soup etc cans and needed some assistance. I bought a yellow one of these Dext openers and have now bought the Mulberry one too (wasnt available when I bought the yellow – both colours are lovely!!!)I was a bit dubious as to whether these would really be any good – might the plastic shear off? I need have no worries. The furthest (from your hand) angle piece is used to start to lift the ring pull then you engage the upper hood and pull the lid fully open. It is so incredibly easy! No more sudden spills due to not controlling the opening process and no more broken fingernails lifting the ring pull. The advertising speaks of the east of use due to the shorter lifting fulcrum. I have to say that does seem to be the case thought maybe I will notice that more if my hands weaken further – currently I am using another opener with larger curve and it seems to work OK to me too, but I LOVE the colours of the DEXT product! Heartily recommended.

So glad to have found this little gadget! I have very weak nails and fingers and usually need to resort to a spoon or knife to help me open cans, which isn’t ideal. This can opener has made things so easy and smooth. Will say, definitely read the instructions because there are two specific little hooks that each do something different. The first time I used it on the main hook it still worked well, but works even better when it’s used as intended (go figure!).100/10 recommend this, and will be buying one for my mum and recommending it to anyone who has dexterity issues (and to people who don’t, too). It’s one of those things that everyone can benefit from.
