They appreciate the amazing color combinations, incredible lighting, and smooth feel of the keys, with one customer noting the tactile feedback from the Blue switches. Amazing Tactile ASMR Luxury Keyboard
Ok, firstly, I rarely write reviews. I had this in one of my lists for 2 years and it went on sale on Black Friday for $50 and decided to get it. I read all the negative reviews also and purchased it anyway (I’ll follow up on those later).Let me start by saving I have never had a luxury keyboard or anything like that. I typically worked with stock or easily affordable keyboards and mice. So if you’re like me, this review will be most helpful to you. I cannot critique this from a high-end perspective because I am a plebian lolI love this keyboard. The response and tactile elements are very satisfying. The LEDs are beautiful and not distracting. There are a bunch of different color settings to equip (Fn + Del, Page up, Page down, Home, etc). To me everything about this keyboard is a win. There is a little learning curve as there is transitioning to any keyboard of a different size, however, there is a little more of a learning curve going from square keys to rounded keys (this took me 2-3 hours). From the moment I took this keyboard out of the box I knew it was going to be great. The keys are straight up ASMR and the push back on the keys is fantastic for the tactile sensation. Let be clear that this keyboard does make audible clicks and may be louder than what you’re used to working on (for me I was working off of a laptop keyboard). I love that though and that’s where the ASMR comes in.Also, I think different sides of the keyboard have different button click feels to me; which I love. This is the best keyboard I have ever owned and I am very much loving it for the price. Some of the one star reviews say there is fading on the keys after use and the silver key rings fall off. There is a 5 star reviewer (I believe) that put the Amazon link for replacement keys. A full set is under $20. For this keyboard, I have no problem buying the keys and doing that in the future if need be. To me that’s absolutely worth it.Another reviewer said that the Volume +, Volume -, Mute, and Calc keys didn’t correspond to the functions on the key itself, this has not been my experience. I am unsure what happened with their item but this is not something I’ve experienced. I also find the dedicated Calc Key fantastic because I will be using this keyboard for work and sometimes I do need to use the Calculator.A few one star reviews said the keys ghost or activate commands unprompted, this has not been my experience.I think one reviewer said there is no light for cap lock or the other locks. I can confirm that there is indeed a light but you don’t see as well because everything is lit up, but there is definitely an extra light that comes on when cap lock and num lock is on. If this is very important to you, you can change to a less bright setting where that will stand out more (easy way to see it without doing this is looking at the key rim directly in-front of that key, or the key toward the right; it will reflect back a little off the rim).I can’t speak toward longevity unfortunately, but from the way it feels and responds now and the quality of it’s build, it doesn’t feel like it’s going to break on me, but, that remains to be seen in time. I did get the extra warranty with this just in case. Actually, particularly because of the 1 star reviews. I think 2 or 3 years was $8.It’s a wonderful keyboard from my perspective and I would gladly buy it again. Hope this review was helpful to you!

    Love it!
Just got it today so this review is fresh but I instantly loved the lights and the clacking sound of the keys. It has a nice feel and seems well made.Unlike some other retro keyboards I looked at, this was does have the 10 key buttons.I would prefer wireless but wired is fine too. No batteries or charging which is a good thing because I like to leave the lights on.The only downside is that the characters on the keys are dim and difficult to see and they don’t light up. They show better in the picture than they do live. It’s not an issue for me but could be for others. My wife didn’t like the way her nails hit the nearby keys but that is also not an issue for me.Overall I like the look, the sound, and the feel and if I have any issues I’ll update.

    Great
Pretty much got what I expected with this so that’s always about as much as can be expected unless you have particularly low expectations of a product. I hoped this would be as good looking in person as in the pics and it definitely is, plus a bunch more. It has downsides but it’s not as pricey as the big name keyboards and after a couple months it’s still working fine, plus if you like the style i honestly don’t know an alternative that matches it remotely on the modern typewriter sort of look it has – I think maybe once I saw an expensive keyboard made out of retrofitted keyboards, with all the issues their keys had an the less than optimal key layout and slope of the rows putting the top row far above the bottom, and the recreations would lose some cool points to solve some of these issues and supply some useful keys not on a real vintage typewriter. Stuff like that is really for hipster types to look cool and retro without care for the functionality of it as a keyboard for much of anything because computers ‘are lame’ or something, right?Anyway, besides liking it, some pros and cons:Pros:- Fully functional in all ways described, and as easy as plug and play- All the controls and color / effect / brightness options are available as keyboard commands, with no accompanying software required or complicated set up processes for relatively limited function options (unlike some big, expensive players – looking at you; Corsair (especially), and Logitech. Realistically programs that allow multiple effect layers (like e.g. -!a color / colors, a wave effect, a typing effect like a single color change or ripple / “pebble in a pond” effect, that’s about as much as anyone can process or would look okay). You could add more but it either wouldn’t be noticed because colors are similar to those used, or you can add jarring sudden bits of unexpected colors in a way that just diminishes the quality of the existing effect; Multiple constant changes clash as do multiple typing-reactant set ups. Basically, the combo of a set main color / colors / animation and the available addition of something like the ripple effect is plenty of movement and honestly more than what looks good w the style – I have a warm white / yellow and orange type background color and a typing effect in a cooler, brighter / whiter color scheme and it is more than enough, the reaction animation might be excessive to some and with this old style coloration of a warmer (2-3k kelvin) light temp that old lightbulbs were pretty exclusively made in, simple works well. You can do a rainbow and crazy stuff if you like though, and without touching your computer. – You also can independently control the side light- The mechanical feel of the keys is nice as are the satisfying click-clacks it produces, as long as you don’t need to be quiet – home office yes, work office probably not unless you’re the boss or at least have a private office.- Price is reasonable for quality and capabilities, at least where some keyboards are $150-200 for (seems to me) imperceivable benefits in response time etc.. and the software which can also set macros etc. easily but probably isn’t worth it for non-gamers, and I doubt they’re getting this anyway because it can’t possibly be the best layout for that.- Seems well made, no issues- Really makes a nice look in, for example, a more traditional office (I moved into a house with an old fashioned wood paneled office and found a large wood / brass antique desk with inlaid green leather top on consignment to buy, and it fits the look perfectly – only the monitors look somewhat out of place.- Not the quickest to type on, the key shape and design aren’t going to set record WPMs for you, but if you use the number pad more than the keys like me and normally average 120-180 wpm you could drop to 50-100 or so wpm but that’s fine for many uses including many work needs. On that..- Full size number pad, very comfortable and easy to use, trading options as my main vocation, I need it most and it’s not failed me or even caused a typo.Cons:- Wired- Save the customization keys

I had this keyboard now for quite some time. I still love it.I always wanted a typewrite styled keyboard but with a more modern touch. This is it.The round keys take some time to get used to as they are a little more sensitive.I already kinda broke a bit of the silver part on the space key, but nothing a little glue cannot fix.

Bought this as a Christmas present, so won’t really get to test it for a bit, but it looks awesome. Not bought for the gaming functions, but more as a cool present for a writer. While the packaging wasn’t the best to protect the keyboard during shipping, it arrived almost two weeks early. The lighting is amazing and seems the perfect brightness, even in a dark room. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned the keyboard sounds may be too loud. But they’re noticeable without bearing over powering. I think this is a great item.

The keyboard its self is great and and i have little bad to say other than it takes quite some time to get used to cause of the circular buttons and the sensitive keys you. Also you can have many different colours and effects on it however it is supposed to be programmable through . the software link however the link takes you to a folder of which is empty and u cant find software for the s108 on the Rk website.
