Lightweight cane that glides – superb!
This product seems only to be available on Amazon and I was so grateful to find it! Can not buy this model from the manufacturer (RockSteadyCane) anymore, or at least not at this time. The “rolling cane” (I call it) is comfortable and lightweight. It stabilizes me, which is what I need right now. If I needed an actual rollator or walker, this might not be an appropriate item because it isn’t designed to put all weight on it and lean entire body on. But it’s great for walking smoothly without the jerky up and down placement of a regular cane. This is why I love it. It’s basically a cane that glides — how great is that?! And it moved effortlessly on both hard surfaces as well as carpet (low pile, at least.)I found out about this product from an acquaintance who had one and the price on Amazon right now is 25% less than what she paid for hers. That made me feel good, but I was prepared to pay more. This is a grab and go walking aid that is size-adjustable and simple to use — just be sure to adjust it to your height so that you’re standing erect, and not bending over! Walking aids should never require bad posture to use!

Great quality and easy to use with practice
I’m still getting used to using this rolling cane. I started out (after my accident) with a four-point quad cane, then upgrade to a single point cane and now I’m trying to get used to using this one. It definitely has a learning curve, but overall it seems to be a very good quality. Basically no assembly required and it doesn’t take up much room in the backseat or behind the seat during a drive.

Great stable cane.
I was a little skeptical about this cane but my husband is thrilled with it. He has used a regular cane for years but is now unsteady on his feet. A regular cane can wobble and be a fall risk. The new cane has wheels and is much more stable, and rolls easy on our hard wood floors and turns on a dime. The only downside is not very good outside as the wheels get stopped by small debris, otherwise we are very happy with this cane.

Very unstable!
Rock steady? What a joke. It is very unstable, and my wife’s physical therapist hates it. Very slow shipping.

Wonderful find
I’m not sure why Amazon says this is frequently returned. It’s really great. Sometimes a cane is not enough but, a full walker is too much. This is a nice middle ground item. It’s sturdy and stays upright and in place. I do wish it had the option of a third wheel in the back – just to move a little better without worrying about scratching the floor. Overall though it is very helpful around the house. Glad to have it.

I WANTED ACCESSS TO ROOMS, BUT SACRIFICED STABILITY FOR IT.
there are a few positives, especially if getting a ‘walker’ into a room especially a bathroom or a stall is important to you.THIS WILL GET THROUGH, It is NOT wide.I do not feel as secure as I do with the walker, 2 wheels and a rear glider are not enough stability. It is light weight which can be a plus or negative depends. I still haven’t accustomed myself to the handle, it’s reversed to what I’d been familiar with. I did not assemble it, there were no complaints by the person who did.Knowing and using this, for the time I’ve had it, I’d continue to look for other more stable walling assist product.

Walking cane
So much better than ordinary cane. You do not have to keep picking it up, just roll along.
