Great for the office
Love these little hourglasses! I’ve purchased the 30 and 60 minute versions to help myself maintain a healthier sit-stand ratio at work. They’re not perfectly precise to the printed time, but I don’t need them to be. They are compact, attractive, and don’t make noise like a digital timer would. My coworkers appreciate the lack of alarm sounds!

not perfect but plenty good enough
Build quality seems great. glass is thick enough to not be fragile and the wood bases are very nice. the sand is also (although very lightly colored) a very clean and uniform looking sand. i have the 30 minute timer and have timed it at 28:57 29:01 28:54 and 28:55. so it is just over a minute short of the stated time. i purchased the timer to be used for a minimum meditation timer, so this slight inaccuracy is not an actual problem, but the nerd in me wishes i could open it up and add some more sand to make it exactly 30 minutes. however it doesn’t appear as though you can open it up without breaking it. overall i am satisfied with it because it doesn’t appear do its job well enough and it is a nice looking timer.

stands up to humidity & wetness
The timer is accurate. I keep it in the bathroom and use it daily as a timer for mouthwash. I usually handle it with wet hands and the wood parts have held up after daily use. The glass part is easy to wipe and keep clean. It’s a great size- it fits in my medicine cabinet.

Keeps me on track with my water intake
I purchased this to help me remember to drink more water throughout the day. Every time I get a glass of water I flip it when I notice it’s running low, I know it’s time to drink more water. This has really made a big difference.

Excellent small hourglass
I wanted a 25 minute hourglass for meditation and pomodoro. I somehow prefer it to a timer because it’s more analog. This one is really excellent — it’s smaller than other 25 minute hourglasses, is affordable, and I timed it at 25:03, so it’s accurate too. My only totally minor complaint is I wish it didn’t say “25” on both sides in huge letters, but I can just put stickers over both ends to customize it.

Schöner Artikel und gute Größe.Der Sand läuft in 54 Minuten durch statt der 60 Minuten.Das Holz ist deutlich heller als auf dem Bild. Das Holz war bei mir bei Zustellung leider abgebrochen. Amazon hat mir den Artikel erstattet und ich konnte ihn behalten.

One end of the wood came cracked. It only has accurate time in one direction, several minutes longer when turned the opposite way (not sure how that’s possible, but I checked 3 times). Glad I didn’t order more than one. It does look nice from a distance. It serves it’s basic purpose, but I won’t buy again.
