I bought this cushion to use in my seat as a truck driver. I’ll be sitting on this cushion 11 hours a day. The cushion arrived on time and matches the item description. It was packaged with care, with the memory foam already in its case and rolled up. The regular sized cushion, compared to the extra large, is not too small. I am 5′ 8″ 125 lbs, and I am able to sit on it with room left over on each side. I decided to take the memory foam out of the fabric zipper case in order to let it fluff up all the way. This was not in the instructions, but it’s wise to do with any memory foam. I did this, and it fluffed up fully. I put it back in its case, which fits well. The zipper fabric case is nice quality, clean, no imperfections that I saw. The memory foam is not too soft and not a stiff firm. I would deem it “medium firm”. It’s firmer than the memory foam you get with bed pillows. It is definitely taller and thicker than other memory foam seat cushions on Amazon. So the dimensions are just right. When I sat on it to test it out, it “relifts” the moment you lift up. I tested it on the hard floor, and with my weight, I did not sink to the very bottom. When I sat on it, I maintained a good inch or more away from the hard floor. It’s not easy to push down on the memory foam with one hand, so trust when I say it is a good medium firmness. Everyone should be reading item descriptions and other reviews before they purchase products here. For the price, it’s definitely one of the better cushions sold on Amazon. I would buy again

Great for alleviating back and hip pain
I pulled my back and hip, so I needed something to provide comfort in my office chair while I recovered. This cushion arrived the next day. It fits perfectly in my desk chair and really helped alleviate the pain. I was impressed that it held its shape throughout the day.

Suffering with sciatica and hip bursitis, I am now visiting a physiopath to finally cure the problem. After the initial examination, one of the first things she said was to describe how I ought to try and sit. This is in a zigzag shape like those ergonomic office chairs you can buy. To do this, rather than sit on a flatish cushion to soften beneath the hip bone area, you should sit with your bum higher up on a wedge shaped cushion, or use a rolled up towel to lift the height at the back which I found very uncomfortable.This shape forces your pelvis forward, not wedged down in the back of the chair, and takes direct pressure off the hip. It also makes your back straighter, slants your knees angled down and, if possile, puts your feet underneath the chair – the perfect position to improve posture and help hip pain.This cushion is incredibly comfortale and firm but soft at the same time.I’m very pleased with it.

Before purchasing a cushion to relieve coccyx pain, I did plenty of research and finally came upon this product. The reviews were factual and incredibly helpful, so I bought one. It is a good quality tall, thick cushion with a seat cover that can be removed for washing. The memory foam is firm, and stays in shape (no flattening) when you lift up/not seated. It is so comfortable and alleviates my pain. I use it in the car and on the sofa etc. I’ve told others about my purchase and I ‘m going to buy a second one so that I don’t have to keep moving it around. As some reviews suggest, allow time for the cushion to take shape when you take it out of the packaging before using. Absolutely brilliant I would highly recommend – thank you!
