Great timer
This visible timer has been such a game-changer for our household—especially with the kids! It’s a fantastic visual tool that really helps them understand and manage time without constantly asking, “How much time is left?” The color block gradually disappears as time counts down, which makes it super easy for them to track visually without needing to read numbers or understand exact minutes. It’s perfect for younger kids or visual learners who do better with a clear, easy-to-see countdown. One of my favorite features is that it also came with magnets on the back, so we can stick it right onto the fridge, whiteboard, or any magnetic surface. This keeps it visible and easily accessible, especially during activities like homework time, screen time, cleanup, or morning routines. I’ve even used it for timed breaks, and it works great for that too!It does require batteries (which aren’t included), but setup was super quick and straightforward. The battery compartment is easy to open, and once the batteries are in, it’s ready to go. The interface is user-friendly, so both adults and kids can use it without any confusion. There are simple buttons to set the time, and it starts counting down immediately after you hit start. The beeping alert is loud enough to hear but not overly obnoxious, which I really appreciate.Overall, this timer is such a helpful tool—not just for kids, but honestly for adults too. It’s a great addition to any home, classroom, or even therapy setting. Whether you’re using it to help with transitions, time management, or just creating a smoother daily routine, it delivers exactly what it promises in a simple, effective way. Highly recommend for any parent or teacher looking to add structure with less stress!

Works but turn nob came off
The timer is very nice! Love love love that it comes with the magnetic schedule. The nob is easy to loose. Some how my 3 year old got a hold of it and it fell off and now I can’t find it🙃. The sound isn’t very loud but if you’re in a quiet space it’s fine.

Best little timer for small kids
I really like this timer . We have tried many timers for our asd son and this one is great . Super easy to use and read. My son can see the timer going down slowly and see when its time to transition .The alarm beep goes on for a long time if you do not shut it off and you can hear from another room . It works so well . Its small but mighty . It comes with so many great magnets and sayings. We can use the first and then phrases with visuals . I really suggest this for any parent not even just special needs parents
Bottom Line Up Front –
Great timer but quite expensive
Bottom Line Up Front: This visual timer is more than just a countdown clock. It’s a smart, kid-friendly time management system that works equally well for home, classroom, and therapy settings.I picked this up to help my kids stick to routines without the constant “How much longer?” chorus. The visual blue dial is its standout feature. The shrinking color block gives an instant, no-numbers-needed sense of how much time remains. That’s gold for younger kids, visual learners, or anyone who struggles with time perception.Pros:-Simple, intuitive setup: Pop in two AAA batteries (not included), turn the dial or set the time, and go. Both kids and adults can operate it without instructions.-Magnetic back: Easily mounts on the fridge, whiteboard, or any magnetic surface so it stays visible.-Montessori-style learning cards: The included magnetic task cards (plus blanks for customization) are thick, durable, and stick well. The “Next” and “Then” cards make transitioning between activities smoother.-Flexible use: We’ve used it for homework sessions, reading time, chore cleanup races, and timed breaks. Teachers could easily integrate this into classroom stations or small-group work.-Adjustable alert: The beep is loud enough to notice without being startling, and the volume/time can be tweaked from the switches under the battery compartment.Cons:-No mid-countdown cues: It’s completely silent while running, which can be a drawback if you want periodic audio prompts or a ticking sound for sensory feedback.-Price point: It’s not the cheapest timer out there, and without the task cards, it might feel a bit basic for the cost.

Good time management tool for someone with ability to learn
We are using this for an adult family member who is disabled (CVA) and has difficulty with time management, which increased the frustration of the caregivers. This tool has helped with a visual to let him know how much time left to eat, dress or get to the bathroom. It has helped with a lot of verbal cuing to look at the time. We have tried using the cards and other visual item, but overall our person still need the verbal cuing to attend to the timer for the cuing to use it for time management. Overall I think this is a great tool and appropriate with someone who has the capacity to learn.

Fun and useful, but a little faulty
The timer has been useful for my toddler when learning to transition from one thing to the next. He loves the magnets and I’ve found them to be super useful in teaching him how to reference a timeline. My only complaint is that the alarm on the timer doesn’t always go off when the time is up. Overall, it is easy to use and easy to teach; easy to organize and has a huge variety of activities for the magnets; simple functionality. Maybe I just have a faulty timer unit, so don’t let that discourage you from trying this out!
