Easy to adjust and secure
I’m a physical therapist and have worked in hospitals and used gait belts for my 30+ year career. I’ve used this one for a couple of weeks at the time of this review. It is easy to get to all parts of the buckle and belt to clean with sanitizing wipes. The belt slides through the buckle easily and the buckle is very secure. Where ever you lock the belt, that’s where it is going to stay. It can be a little tough to unlock because it is so secure, but that is a non-issue in my book. The piece that is supposed to secure the extra length of the belt fell off the first time I used the belt and I just got rid of it. It was more of a nuisance than a help. This is one of the better belts I have ever used and will order again when needed.

Cheap belt
It does the purpose of wrapping around my patient’s waist but I can’t clip the belt in place because the clip to contain the belt is loose. I have to wrap the belt around and around my patient’s waist. It does meet the standards that it is easily cleaned/ disinfected. And wraps up for storage. I do like the color. It will be easy to find when I leave it in a patient’s room! But I wouldn’t buy it again.

Easy to use
I am a PTA & I needed a gait belt I could wipe down due to infection control & this works great. Handle could be a bit difficult to open once fully closed but it works.Some gait belts can be stiff but this is very flexible and I can roll it up and put in pocket, my bag, loop it through walker or simply wrap around my waist for easy carry. Sharpie works well to label it also. Wish it came in different/brighter colors

Good purchase
This belt works well. It is easy to fasten and remains snug. I purchased this particular type of belt because I work in an environment where we have to wipe down equipment after each use. Cloth/fabric type belts are considered unacceptable. This wipeable belt definitely meets the requirements. I’m satisfied with this product.
