    Very compelling and fun toy!
This sensory activity from HELOBELA is a fun and compelling sensory toy for all ages. The compactness of the device is an added bonus. It’s easy to get caught up in the fine motor sensory involvement, which is the goal, after all. It’s durable, colorful, and portable making it a perfect car fidget or even a classroom one. Recommended for parents and teachers alike.

    Not just for kids! 😉
I love this toy! I had fun playing with it myself, using it for these pictures & afterwards. It offers a lot for the small price!Perfect fidget tool, keeping finger busy.I love that kids can create without the feeling of making mistakes, as there is no wrong. It offers a pleasant physical sensation of applying the colorful silicone strips onto the white hard ridges & bumps. I love that it is its own storage, storing the strips inside the ball so to not lose any pieces. Great that you can work on the whole sphere or on half the ball for traction based on specific needs. There are plenty of strips, 2 in each color. I would like the option of buying more strips for my creative boy. I would definitely also purchase a bigger “deluxe version” of this, as well, so I’ll keep an eye out.FYI- The latching is not screw. I kept blindly trying to screw it on, only to realize that I had to stop, and pay attention, to match the 2 sides and THEN screw. LOL! Perfectly fine, just user error. I thought I’d mention this just because I’ve seen how many people will blame a product for user error and deduct stars unfairly. It is easy to open & close. I look forward for my nephews to enjoy this toy too!

Entertaining at first but may lack staying power. Creative idea for a toy.
This is a decent little fidget/craft toy. The kids were eager to play with it and I found it intriguing myself. I do wish it has a few more of the little colored sticks. When you put the sticks into the ball they definitely stay in place. I liked the fact that they are rubbery and you a stretch them around corners a bit and they tend to stay in place better when doing so.My caveat with this item is the staying power. The kids were entertained and so was I but briefly and then it seemed forgotten. This is a toy that will largely depend on the attention span of your child. This could capture someone’s attention and it may not. Time will tell if this ends up becoming a well played with toy or not and if it does I’ll update the review to say so.

Get this-It’s the best one I have tried
Full disclosure: sometimes I have a hard time not speaking my mind during frustrating work meetings. Having fidget toys on hand really helps. I have tried several of these silicone string toys, and this is the best one by far. The soft “noodles” are flexible and long enough to make actual patterns in the surface. The ridges are perfectly-sized to actually hold the design. I was even able to make a zig-zag without the noodle just popping out. The halves of the ball are meant to screw together to create a storage space for the silicone strings. Although I could get it to work, I don’t think that a child with small hands would be able to do it very easily. However, I am not taking off any stars because it does work, and I think that it looks kind of sculptural as two halves. Several people have admired my other silicone string sets, and now I know to get this set for them as a great gift.

    Encourages Creativity and More Too
I really like this HeLoBela Sensory Activity Ball. This is designed as a Fidget and Sensory Activity Toy, for children and adults with autism or ADHD. It can also help to relief anxiety, enhance focus, for occupational therapy, and as a quiet toy. As an educator, I agree, and would add that it could be used to develop eye hand coordination, foster creativity, and to help teach the art concepts of line, color, and shape. The set comes with the ball and 16 colorful Silicone Strips – 2 each of yellow, lime green, blue, lilac, dark fuchsia, and orange. (I do wish the dark fuchsia was red instead, since it’s a primary color.) The ball has different groove pattens where the silicone strips can be inserted to create colorful designs. It’s easy to set them in, but pulling them out can be a little tricky sometimes. However, this is not a major issue. The ball can be pulled apart in half, to store the strips inside when not in use. It is made of BPA-free silicone and PP plastic, but the strips are small. Hence, the manufacturer recommended it only for children ages 3 and above. Taking all this into consideration, I’m giving this ball 4 stars.

    Not Just for Kids
Omg, I absolutely love this toy! Honestly, it can keep me occupied for quite some time – and I’m the adult here 😄. It’s just that fun and oddly satisfying to play with.My kids enjoy it too and come back to it from time to time. Great quality.

    Not great.
Bringing the sensory noodle board concept to a sphere seems like an interesting idea, but this product falls flat. There are numerous design flaws:- The ball is too hard to open and close, and there is very little visual indication that you have it lined up right.- The ball is made of hard plastic. Similar flat products are made from silicone which grips the noodles better. They tend to pop out of the channels on the hard plastic ball.- Most of the surface is just straight channels. There’s one little section with switchbacks and one section of grid, but it’s mostly boring straight lines.Self-storing the noodles is great, but there are too many other issues. You’re better off with a flat board and ziplock storage bag.
