Customers say
Customers find the shower chair sturdy and well-built, easy to assemble with clear instructions, and appreciate its safety features. Moreover, the chair makes showering easier, particularly for personal cleaning, and one customer notes it’s especially helpful for disabled individuals. However, customers disagree on the comfort level, and the arm height receives mixed feedback.

Reliable and sturdy product that I would recommend
Review for Shower Chair U-Shape Seat (450lb Heavy Duty) with padded armrests and back.Short Impression:Pro: A very reliable and sturdy product that I would recommend.Questionable:a) The chair may technically support 450 lbs, but I doubt someone of that size could comfortably fit into it—perhaps only without the handles.b) The padding on the seat and backrest doesn’t look like it will last long, though only time will tell.Con: None so far.Recommendations Before You Buy:Measure your bathtub very carefully. Amazon sells similar-looking chairs at lower prices, but the width between the front legs is 21”+, which will not fit into a standard U.S. bathtub that measures about 18”+ at the bottom. If you are experienced with assembly, you can skip this part. If, like me, you have zero experience, read on:1. Have both the manual and video ready before you start. Some steps are explained better in the manual, others in the video.2. Compare all items in the package against the list in the manual. Make sure everything is included and in the correct quantity. Believe me, you do not want to disassemble everything for a return once you are halfway through.3. Do not ignore the small metal rings that come with the screws (washers). They really add sturdiness to the chair.4. Do not tighten the screws immediately. Keep all of them loose until the very end, then tighten once you are satisfied with the fit. This makes assembly much easier.I am a 60-year-old woman with no prior assembly experience, and I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes.Other Impressions:Comfort: The padded armrests and backrest are much more comfortable than plain plastic chairs. The U-shaped cutout in the seat is also very helpful for men—my family member noticed this immediately.Adjustable Height: Adjusting the height is simple. However, if you use a regular tub, you may not need to raise the chair. Personally, I would prefer it slightly lower, though that may depend on your height (I am petite).Safety: The rubber tips on the legs work well and keep the chair from slipping. Still, remind your loved ones to always use both handles when changing positions. Otherwise, the chair could lose balance and possibly tip.Overall:A strong, well-designed shower chair that provides confidence and safety. An excellent choice for the elderly, disabled, or anyone needing extra support while showering.

Very Good Prodcut – Highly Recomend
This has been a great product and is exactly as advertised. It has great support for getting up and down. Showering is very easy with this chair and really give the user a feeling of being secure and safe. Very sturdy and is easy to clean off after use. Perfect size for the shower and is comfortable while in use and has good adjustments. I recommend this shower chair for anyone that needs that extra feeling of safety and wants to easily shower regularly.

A Make-Sense Stout Shower Chair
I’ve had shower chairs in the past, this is by far a heavy duty one and comfortable, well made, greatly designed. It makes sense how it was designed with a gap right where it should be to facilitate optimum bathing while still sitting, whether female or male. I have an extra wide tub and it fits nicely and so if you have a narrow tub/ shower situation, it might not work well for you. It’s 20” wide at the outside of feet, chair facing shower. I did not need tools to put it together. All screws have turn knobs. Easy instructions even for a 70 yo female.

The nurses are happy I bought this
Safe, sturdy, has arms to assist a disabled person to enter shower stall and seat themselves. Good quality shower chair. The nursing facility helped me search through models listed on Amazon and on their recommendation, I chose this one. The round hole in seat of chair makes for easy washing for those using shower head. Next step, I bought a quality floor mat for inside of shower stall for under the user’s feet.

As promised product
Chair easy to assemble. So far after a few months holding up well for my husband. Not too heavy for me to move around. Drains quickly.

A safe shower chair
Precision bent pipe. Very rugged Went together without any trouble, however you have to push some of the pipes into place a little to get the screws to attach. When I saw all the parts it was a bit bewildering but just follow the directions. Many parts are lettered and are easily matched with corresponding locations. This chair is rugged and safe. Very sturdy, looks good. I’m 6’5″ and is perfect for me. I weigh 215#. This Seat has no problem holding me comfortably.

A shower chair that fits the bill.
It does require full assembly but follow the instructions and it is not difficult. The chair fulfilled all my expectations and is very comfortable. It fits easily into our older shower. We needed a shower chair with extra strength and width; this was it. I recommend it.

Easy to assemble. Adjustable height and stability of the chair helps elderly person or post surgery person to have confidence in the shower.
