Excellent quality and easy to install
We are very happy with the quality, the larger diameter (1.25”) the 16” length is perfect. Love the stainless steel with non-slip grip and they are very sturdy. These are perfect, price is great and we already feel safer getting in and out of our tub, especially as seniors. Highly recommend these grab bars!!

Have Patience and proper tools. Good product.
Had elderly mother-in-law visiting and was concerned about safety for huge walk in shower. Researched and seemed robust enough. Pick the proper height, use a level and mark the holes for mounting plates.Hardest part was drilling the shower tiles since I had to go buy special carbide bits (diamond might be better?) specifically rated for tile, as well as learn the technique for a standard (don’t use hammer or impact) drill. (Note that porcelain tile will be MUCH MUCH harder to drill than ceramic tile). I found a scrap piece of tile to practice on.Have to drill pilot holes with smaller bit and dip the bit in a cup of water every 30 seconds or so. Spent 20 minutes watching YouTube videos, exhausted two batteries on the drill, and spent probably an hour and a half drilling six holes twice. Once for the pilot hole and once for the hole I needed for the wall anchors.Putting up the handle was easy. Simply 6 plastic wall anchors and six screws and clean up the tile powder debris.

Included anchors were useless
The bar is solid quality and installation is as you see on the product photos but I had trouble with the drywall anchors bending while being tapped in and I ended up having to use a different set that I had leftover from a previous project. Used the right drill bit size and a rubber mallet as pictured but they just seemed cheap. You may want to have some better ones on hand just in case. Otherwise everything seems pretty nice.

Very sturdy, I used 2 of the 3 screw holds on a stud and it is very stable. The anchors provided are probably not good enough if you just put them in drywall.
