Excellent for my situation/Maybe not for everyone
These open-toe slippers are fine, for what I require for my feet. I have no swelling, no diabetic condition, and no need for bandaging. Choice of footwear for persons with these conditions requires careful thought, and maybe some trying on of a few types and sizes of slippers. My feet and nails are free of fungus, and I prefer to maintain this condition. I don’t wear street shoes on my floors and carpets and I don’t walk around in my living space barefoot or even just in socks. I chose these slippers for the open-toe design, because I knew that light and air would be good for keeping my nails free of fungus, mold, etc, etc. With these slippers, I can keep my feet off the floor, without keeping my feet in the dark, damp space preferred by fungus and mold. For what I want, these slippers are fine. They are comfortable.Whether this design would work for a bandaged foot probably could not be decided without trying them on the person’s foot. I’m not sure if it would be possible to provide an exact fit, just by choosing a size from the online chart. Everything would depend on the thickness of the bandaging; and the need for protection of circulation. If the straps would ever be tightened, to hold this slipper on, circulation might be slowed down, and that’s not going to be good for a person with diabetes. I have the straps fairly loose, and these slippers are fitting just right. But that’s me. Every case is different. So my recommendation is: Try these. If these don’t work, try some slippers with a different design. Care of feet is absolutely essential for a person’s health. These are definitely worth a trial.

BEST FOR NON MOBILITY
THEY WOULD BE COMFORTABLE FOR A NON MOBILE PERSON. I GOT THEM BECAUSE OF MY SWOLLEN FEET. I LIKE THE ADJUSTABLE WIDTH. THEY WILL FIT WIDE FEET. THE SHOES DO RUN LONG IN LENGHT. I MEASURE A 7 1/2 . THE EIGHT FIT PERFECTLY. AS FOR WALKING THEY HURT THE BALL AND HEEL OF MY FEET. MY FEET ARE TENDER WHEN SWOLLEN. THEIR CUSHION DOES’NT SEEM TO BE GOOD QUALITY FOR AN ACTIVE PERSON. GREAT FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS TO BE STILL. OR JUST MAKE SMALL TRIPS TO BATHROOM OR KITCHEN.

Comfortable but
The shoes are comfortable but the Velcro closure doesn’t feel strong enough to stand up to the demanding wear I give to shoes.

Excellent shoe for the elderly!
I ordered these for my 82 year old Mom and she loves them! They do run large. I originally ordered a 9, which is her normal size, but they were way too big so returned for a size 8. She loves the adjustable straps because her feet swell sometimes. They are a very comfortable and stable shoe. So much so, she is wearing them to physical therapy! Plan to order another color for her soon.

Platform too high
Shoes don’t fit right on my elderly mom. . It’s too high of a platform for my 96 year old mom. Makes her toes push forward through opening Very dangerous for walking . She has almost fell forward when walking .

Fit and comfort
The adjustable straps on top make it very convenient order these for my mother who had hip surgery recently and she can put them on with very little help. We bought a size 9, even though she wears 8 1/2 and her big toe I want it is just about to reach the edge. The big toe on the other foot is about a half an inch short of the edge of the front of the shoe this is so you can accurately figure out what size to get if your relative or you wear an 8 1/2 and you get an eight it might be a tad small because these being tightened up, I would tend to go the size up from the half size

I really love these shoes , I haven’t been able to get ladies shoes that fit for so long, always depending on men’s runners as my feet swell and I take a large size . Now I can wear these shoes that not only look nice they are also comfortable .

The size is too large compared to the same size we used to besides the sole is very hard.

These shoes are a great investment for older adults managing diabetes or foot pain, as they provide both comfort and protection, which are crucial for maintaining foot health. These shoes have extra depth and width and the Velcro closure makes them easy for caregivers to put on.
