Customers say
Customers find these slippers easy to put on and take off, with a secure Velcro closure that keeps them firmly in place. They are well-made with sturdy soles suitable for outdoor wear, and are particularly helpful for those with swollen feet. The fit receives mixed feedback – while some find them great for swollen feet, others say they’re too big/wide. The design and stiffness also get mixed reviews, with some finding them attractive while others consider them poorly designed, and some noting they feel clunky.

Comfortable and Warm
My stepfather, Q, loved these. They were very comfortable and kept his feet warm. He liked them so much he continued to wear them after the swelling in his feet went down.

So Grateful To Have Found These Shoes!
These made the world of difference in comfort for our dad. He is battling a disease that made his feet swell so bad not even sneakers would work. These shoes fit to size. My dad is a 9 and we bought the 9. Fit perfectly. These shoes are wide but that is what we needed to contain his feet. The velco side are wide to accommodate fluctuating fluid in the foot. Also, the center “tongue” flap folds all the way back except for about two inches which made it real easy for my dad to put his own shoes on, quickly too. He said they cradle his foot such that he felt secure in walking in them. It’s been about 4 weeks since we owned them and he still says how he loves these shoes.

Sturdy, comfortable, easier to put on/take off
I wish they had a wide along with the double wide. My husband’s foot is healing and he doesn’t have so many dressings on them anymore.

Clunky and hard to properly secure.
While these fit ok, even when my feet would swell a bit. I expected them to be more comfortable for the price. They feel very clunky and are hard to secure properly so they aren’t floppy when I walk. The support is just so-so, an orthotic insert would probably help. Also not crazy about how they look. Overall for me they are not worth the cost.

Perfect Solution for Imperfect Feet
My husband’s normal shoe size is 14 to 15 wide with a high instep. Add extreme swelling due to a bout with cellulitis where his feet & legs required compression wrapping. Finding ANY slipper was daunting. These slippers are magical in a sense. They open from the top allowing the foot to slip in easily. Closing the Velcro tabs to the desired width & firmness or not is a relief. He can now walk with some stability and without fear of slipping. We are really grateful to have found this. We paired it with non slip xxl wide stretchable socks to mitigate any rubbing & injury to his toes as the softness of sheepskin lining isn’t available. He’s also diabetic. My husband finds them comfortable & is able to take them off and on by himself. Hope this helps.

Controls the width
My husband has difficulty with swelling in his feet. These shoes help him control the tightness around his feet so that we can better control the blisters he might have.

I bought these slippers for my dad who, due to his failing heart, has swollen feet. The blue are very cute, solid, supportive and well made. The only reason I took away one star is that he needs help to put them on. A lot of flaps to deal with- but that’s what makes them so supportive and adjustable. Well made overall.

Only slippers I could find anywhere that fit my dad’s swollen feet and ankles from heart disease. He is able to put these on himself, when he needed my mother’s help before. He still could not fit in regular slippers even when buying a larger size. Slippers without a back were too dangerous for him to slip and fall also. This 3-way velcro closing for these slippers and buying one size up ended up working perfectly.

I bought these velcro slippers for my dad who is 87 and having a hard time walking. He needed something that was easy to slip on and comfortable. My dad loves these slippers and that’s all he wears when he’s at home. Even while resting with his legs up, you’ll find him wearing his new slippers. I’m very happy my dad loves it and I’m very happy with the purchase.

They were perfect otherwise but seem to be very slippery at the rehab hospital for my dad.
