SUPER Useful Essentials for CGM device
I purchased a Stelo CGM device ( https://amzn.to/47mrIQB ) and because these popped up as add-ons, I decided to go ahead and get some of them, too… just in case!And Boy! SO GLAD I DID! The first night I had the device, as I pulled off my tee-shirt, the sleeve got stuck on the adhesive of the implant and almost ripped it out of my arm. Luckily, though, I caught it in time to apply THREE of these patches onto the sensor to ensure it stays in place for its fifteen-day life, and doesn’t try coming off again.Maybe just ONE of the patches would suffice for some people in some situations, and maybe as I get more accustomed to how these things work, I’ll be able to apply only ONE of these overpatches to hold the unit in place. But for now, I appreciated that there are so many in one package here, that I can go ahead and apply a TRIAD of PATCHES on each applicator… ensuring that it stays FIRMLY IN PLACE over time.EXCELLENT add-on product for any CGM device… And of course, there are other applications, too. (TENS unit patches, for instance, on an active body) and more…I appreciate the way these have FIVE different segments to pull off the adhesive from… and you can leave some ON (like the middle dot) or peal them all OFF for total coverage.But really cool, highly effective… nigh on ESSENTIAL add-on for any CGM!!I really like

Great, covers the entire sensor and stays on 10 days easily
These work very well to keep my 85 y/o elderly mom’s G7 sensor on for the entire 10 days without having to add tape for reinforcement before time was up. She had been having problems pulling the sensor out or partially out accidentally because it would getting caught on clothing, etc. These patches cover the entire sensor, not just a circle around it. The paper backing on this patch is divided into several sections so you can peel it off and apply it in sections if that works easier for you. When removing the paper backing from the patch, do yourself a favor and LEAVE THE CENTER PIECE OF PAPER ON, so the patch doesn’t stick to the sensor itself! It makes it so much easier to remove the sensor when the 10 days is up! If the tape is stuck to the sensor, it can be difficult to remove the sensor without hurting. These patches are so much better than what comes in the box with it. I throw those away, as they are no longer necessary using this patch. These are WELL worth the money and this is what Dexcom should put in the box with the sensor. I mean, the patches are so expensive already, we need them to stay in place!

I have been buying these for about a year now. I purchased these after receiving my Dexcom g7. The ones that come with the Dexcom do not work for me. I purchased these in hopes that they would do the job.The colors are vibrant, they are true to what you see in the photo. I have done the purple and the pastels. Using just the Skin grip, I can get about 4-5 days use.I choose to use these in conjunction with the Skin Tac wipes for extra adhesive. It’s those, these will stay in place for over 10 days.In this photo, I’m on day 7. They do get wrinkly once wet, but I find they don’t lift as long as I use these skin tac wipe.These are very nice quality. They are thicker and don’t typically cause me any irritation.I do find they fray very easily though.

Does not irritate skin!
Finally a product that doesn’t rip my skin off or irritate the crap out of it. I have the Dexcom 7 sensor and every patch that I’ve ever bought has recked havoc on my skin. There is absolutely no irritation whatsoever. I purchased based on the reviews and hands down this is the best cover. When I wear the sensor on my arm, it does fray a little around the edges. I guess you could change it mid way to keep it very fresh. I recently switched to using it on my thigh and use just 1 patch for the 10 days. Maybe because it isn’t exposed as much but it stays completely intact and still looks good at day 10. It dries quickly after getting it wet. I know some reviews say the price wasn’t worth it but if you break it down, it’s pretty cost effective and doesn’t ruin your skin.

Larger full coverage, stays put, but easier to remove
While these are pricey, I love the way these entirely cover my G7. Much larger than the adhesive that comes with the G7. Stays on great, starts to loosen a tad around the edges about day 9, but is much easier to get ahold of to remove. Great product

Keeps the device secure but gets raggedy around the edges quickly (within a few days) which may not matter so much in winter but is not becoming during summer.

For the most part these are very durable and function as advertised. Some of the patches in the package did not adhere as well – the protective film was loose on them even before use. About 10-15% loss rate. The ones that had the film on correctly function for about 10 days max, surviving showers and mild walks.
