Small size, big results.
I just received this product. I purchased the adapter so I could forget having to have batteries on hand. The motion detector is excellent. Very sensitive. However, I ordered a pager that would vibrate instead of loud noise. I received the loud noise. If I can get the vibrating pager, I would say one could not do better for alerting to movement of a child, an elderly person who might wander or an intruder. I am sure that dogs and cats would set it off, it is that sensitive. And the price is right.

Worked perfectly upon arrival. Purchased it to use with a monitor that I must leave on all night to alert me when my elderly mother gets out of bed during the night. I am sure it will safe me a lot of money because I won’t need to use batteries.

This worked great for my husband’s wifi phone.
I can’t believe the phone didn’t come w/ one, so I ordered. I did not want to route the internet through the phone to his computer as it is a big degradation in speed to your computer if you do that. This worked great to go direct into electrical for power.

Not very durable
At our assisted living home facility, we use a motion sensor/call button system that uses this cord to connect to a power source. The main box gets moved often. Although we take care to prevent tugging on the cord or bending it, it often starts to fray at the connection to the large plug or at the main connection to the box itself.It’s a cheap enough cord to replace, but I feel it could be made a little sturdier. As I stated, we are careful to avoid abuse (and go overboard to protect the areas where we have trouble) but have had to replace the cord many times.I’ve taken to using clear packaging tape to strategically stabilize areas and that has helped.One final thing is that the plug is very heavy and has no rubber like surface on it. I dropped it accidentally once and something shattered inside the plug unit and that one was shot.Let’s just say that it’s the only thing that works for our assisted living facility and so we will continue to purchase these in quantity just to make sure we have ones for backup when that time comes.
