Great For Those At Risk Of Injury
This is a wonderful set if you are a caregiver for work or a family/friend. It is geared towards allowing a caregiver (or family member) to be alerted if the “patient” gets out of bed OR needs assistance. This set comes with 3 pieces, the cordless monitor that the caregiver will keep with them, the nurse call button which the “patient” should keep with them to use if they need assistance, and the exit bed pad that will send an alert to the monitor when the “patient” has left the bed. The bed pad is pretty sensitive and may alert you if the “patient” is moving around, but is overall effective. The call button works just as well to signal the monitor that the “patient” needs help. There is a wrist lanyard that you can attach to the call button so that they can keep it with them if they are moving around. The caregiver monitor is great and has 3 different sound settings. It runs on 3 C batteries that were not included and you will want to have on hand. You can go up to 300ft away from the patient devices and still receive a signal (more or less depending on your home). I like that this set can be integrated with other items that are sold separately. You can easily get everything you need to help monitor and maintain the health and safety of the patient, but you don’t have to buy anything else if you don’t want to. Overall, great set that is well worth the price. Would recommend.

Costly device
The monitor is cordless. There are several features that highlight its usefulness. Among them is the mat that alerts if the person being monitored has left the bed.I am not quite sure on its use since I am not too concerned if my mother has gotten up to go to the bathroom, but good for some where an elderly person may have fallen or gotten up from the bed due to distress.The connectivity is good, sound is acceptable. The monitor is quite expensive and that’s something where I would like to hold a star.It utilizes type C batteries, three each, or the device can be powered by DC 6V adopter, but NOT INCLUDED. This is really a non acceptable thing as a costly device such as this should have been included within.

This comes with Smart Caregiver Monitor with Nurse Call Button, and 10in x 30in Cordless Bed Exit Pad. The call button comes with a 12v battery. The Bed Exit Pad requires 3 C batteries or an adapter to plug into the wall, which do not come with it. I am using C batteries. There are low battery indicators, to let you know when to replace the batteries. The monitor can be used with just the lights or can chime. I think it is a great idea to include the call button with the Bed Exit Pad.The monitor can pickup the signal from the Call Button and the Bed Exit Pad from several rooms away.It would be nice if the Bed Exit Pad sensitivity could be adjusted. It is too sensitive, it alerted the monitor when my 12 lb. Cat walked on it. The Bed Exit Pad senses every slight movement of the person who is laying on it.

This device turned out to be a very helpful assistance alarm while I had to care for my grandmother. It’s not just for home and family but quality is great enough for the true nursing environment too
