Better Zigbee temperature/humidity device. AAA batteries. Min/Max on screen.
I like these better than their other temperature and humidity zigbee monitor. This uses 2 AAA batteries rather than coin batteries and min and max reading on the screen itself. So, good to use rechargeable batteries. This min and max are good for quick check on the desk. The other one has a holder with a sticker to put on walls. As expected, pairs easily with home assistant and gives two sensor data; temperature and humidity.

Good price, good product
I was reading one of the other reviews and you can easily switch between temperature units by double pressing the pair/wake button. Behaves well, I was able to update its zigbee config to refresh data more frequently on Home Assistant. Will consider purchasing more.

Set up with Smart Things Hub was easy took only 1 minute.
The standout experience for me was the setup. I am running a Samsung SmartThings Hub, and the pairing process was smooth:Speed: It literally took about 1 minute to get it recognized.Process: I put the hub into “Scan for nearby devices” mode, held the pairing button on the back of the sensor for 5 seconds until the signal icon flashed, and it popped up.Compatibility: It was recognized as a Zigbee 3.0 device without needing any custom Edge drivers or workarounds. Temperature and humidity readings started reporting immediately.Key Features & PerformanceThe Display: The 3.6-inch screen is huge and high-contrast. You can read it from across the room. It shows the current Temp/Humi, but also displays the 24-hour Min/Max values, which is great for a glance without opening your phone.Smart Monitoring: Through the app (I tested via eWeLink as well), the charts are detailed. You can view 6 months of history and even export the data to a CSV file—perfect if you’re monitoring a server room, wine cellar, or greenhouse.Remote Data Display: This is a unique feature—if you have other SONOFF sensors (like the SNZB-02P), you can actually set this unit to display the temperature of a different room on its screen.Battery Life: It runs on 2x AAA batteries (included), which I much prefer over the CR2450 coin cells. It’s rated for long-term use, and AAA batteries are much easier to keep on hand.ProsMassive Screen: The best-looking display in the SONOFF sensor lineup.Fast Reporting: It updates enough to trigger automations (like turning on a humidifier) almost in real-time.Versatile Mounting: It has a built-in kickstand for a desk and a hanging hole for wall mounting.Zigbee 3.0 Mesh: Acts as a solid end device in a Zigbee mesh network.ConsNo Backlight: The screen is not backlit, so it’s hard to read in a pitch-black room without a light on.Size: Because of the large screen, it has a larger footprint than standard “hidden” sensors.Final VerdictIf you want a smart sensor that you don’t have to “hide,” the SONOFF AirGuard TH is the one to get. It’s rare to find a Zigbee sensor that pairs this with SmartThings while providing a professional-grade physical display. It’s become the primary monitor for my home office.

Good sensor but requires SONOFF Zigbee hub
This temperature and humidity sensor has a nice large 3.6-inch display that’s easy to read from across the room. The screen shows current readings plus the 24-hour high and low, so you can track changes at a glance. Accuracy seems solid and lines up with other devices I already had installed and trust in my home. The big catch is you really need a SONOFF branded Zigbee hub to use most of the smart features. If you already have one, setup is straightforward. SONOFF has chosen to restrict most advanced features within their own ecosystem, so using any other brand (including SmartThings and Echo), you’re just getting a basic thermometer/hygrometer. The recommended eWeLink app does allow Bluetooth connection, but that only works locally when your phone is connected within the 30m range limit. No checking readings remotely, no smart triggers and no notifications without that SONOFF Zigbee hub.My Zigbee hub is another brand, so I could only attach the AirGuard with basic features that allowed temp readings (unchangeably locked to Celsius in my app) with no history. Despite other reviews noting the display can’t be changed from C to F…it can actually be changed with a double press of the reset button on back of the unit (clearly mentioned in the product documentation). My third party app unfortunately doesn’t provide that same ability and using the eWeLink app with any non-SONOFF Zigbee hub is not allowed. It runs on two AAA batteries (included) and appears to update about every 5 seconds. The historical data charts in the eWeLink app are nice if you want to track trends over time. For the price, it’s a decent option if you’re already in the SONOFF ecosystem, but make sure you have a compatible Zigbee hub before buying.

Funktioniert super.Bisher misst es im direkten Vergleich mit anderen Sensoren sehr genau.

Was using a “dumb” thermometer in the past but having finally gotten around to building out a Zigbee setup for Home Assistant, these are great value and align closely with temperature and humidity values on my old kit.We got two, will probably get more. The app seems decent and comprehensive but i’ve not used it much. For the price of them you can’t go far wrong.Easy setup into HA, working from the outset.

This is a really good value Zigbee compatible temperature and humidity sensor. For basic use you can use it a simple stand alone sensor. It clearly displays temperature and humidity as well as min and values for both over the last 24 hours. It as a sturdy feeling fold out stand on the back as well a hole for using a screw to wall mountIf you want to get a bit more advanced you can use the Ewelink and pair it using bluetooth. This allows you to see the temperature and humidity on your phone. If you want to even further you can pair via Zigbee to Home assistant. This is how I have it setup. Pairing was straightforward and the connection has been completely stable.I like how this new model from Sonoff uses 2 AAA batteries instead of the us usual CR2032 type. It means you can use rechargeable batteries in this one.One review mentioned that it isn’t Home Assistant friendly and that you couldn’t change to Fahrenheit on the actual display. For anyone else needing to do this, go to the device exposes in Zigbee2MQTT, and you can set the units for the actual Sonoff there.I’ve been that impressed with this sensor both in Home Assistant and as a stand alone display that I plan on replacing my current sensors with these.
