This helps with transport and moving without pain. In some cases it is better than using the belt .

Purchased for family member who is a caregiver for someone bedridden. They report that it is effective, and makes repositioning the patient easier (they do have the full repositioning pads also). Fabric is strong, yet soft … so no scratching of skin.

SummaryI was able to test it out, and the wide fabric makes it comfortable to lift up and for the lifted person. The slightly slippery fabric helps you slide it into the optimal position for leverage and lifting. Transfer Sling
I have not used this yet. I slipped in the bathtub and had to call 911 to help get me up so I could get out of the bathtub. It looks easy to use where my husband can help me up if I fall.

Works well!
My parents are older and devices like these help prepare me for if there are any emergencies that could arise. My parents and I practice with the sling. The quality is nice as well and it’s durable.

Great to have when needed!
There is not a lot to say about this lift strap as it is pretty straightforward what it it designed for.The fabric I fine and it is well constructed. The handles are great,,I tried this on my sister and it worked as expected to give her assistance getting up. I think it would be a great addition to any first add/geriatric supply closet!Maybe even keep one in the car handy if someone is needing help.

Transfer Belt
Great help for lifting someone out of wheelchair as long as they still are able to help with standing. Belt works for moving someone around in bed or sitting someone up it. Belt does help take a small load off of your back and reduce back pain. As long as you have no issues with gripping and enough strength to pull a person depending on their weight which would be considered dead weight because they are not helping when belt is wrapped around their upper body, belt does help. Pictures show wrapped around arms and chest which allows no help from person being used on. Wrapping under arms also works as long as it’s comfortable for person being used on which allows them to help in some way while being lifted. I found out being under arm they can grab and help balance themselves by touch a item in room or just simply holding onto your shoulder. That’s just my opinion of using belt, you must do whatever works best for you.

Great to help a human and a dog
This is very strong and large enough for my husband and myself. There are two sets of handles I think for smaller to larger people. This helps you assist in moving and lifting a person with less strain. It is made very well and is more comfortable for the person lifting and the person being lifted. This functions as a helper and is so easy to use. One extra idea is helping an older dog with hip problems to stand up. The material is easy to wipe down and also fold up to take with you and use in the car.
