Light and Durable
We needed a light wheelchair for our mom who is visiting us. We wanted something that is light and compact and easy to carry around. We found this and it came in about one week. The box itself is quite small for a wheelchair. Out of the box it is definitely light! And all I needed to do is attach the leg rest and the hind support wheels (anti tipper) and its ready to use. No need for tools to assemble, just click on. I appreciate how easy it is to fold up with the 2 straps on the seat. Although it is light, the magnesium alloy material seems rigid enough to last a long time. My only concern is the plastic holder of the leg support. And as described it is easy to push the leg support away when you wish to stand up. One caution though, if you on the big/obese side, the seat might not be wide enough. Because of its lightness, it is easy to maneuver around on your own. I did not need to use the red cushion as it seems comfortable enough. When folding away, it is quite compact and will need not much space. The handle (where you push the wheelchair) will both fold down and when you take the hind support wheels off and and leg rest off, it is very compact. The tires are pretty durable from the feel of it. It also comes with a travel bag which would come in handy when one has to bring it on the plane. I also love the rear hand brake and the pouch at the back. All in all, I would recommend this wheelchair but again take note, it will not fit big/wide people. Otherwise, this is a good alternative for light wheelchairs.

Very light, very comfortable, well designed
I got this for my wife; she needs one when she goes to the hospital, and there isn’t always one handy, and they’re not very comfortable. This fits the bill perfectly. It folds up small enough to easily fit in a car without removing anything, it’s easy to maneuver, and she reports that it’s extremely comfortable. The rear brake and lock is very handy when I’m taking her somewhere; I don’t have to reach down to lock it. The footrests feel a bit flimsy, but they work fine. The seatbelt is also useful, but again, not very solid, and the male buckle can easily fall off. None of this is enough to deduct a star.If you’re used to heavy wheelchairs, be aware that this handles very differently due to the light weight, even with someone in it. Just be a bit cautious while you get used to it. The anti-tip bars in the back are essential, because otherwise this probably could tip over backward easily. With them installed, there’s no problem. This chair would likely not be suitable for a very large person. For someone of more average proportions, the narrower chair is probably more comfortable because they aren’t sliding from side to side and get better support.

Unsafe
The chair is light, appears strong, easy as a wheelchair.BUT it may be a safety hazard and dangerous to the patient. The BRAKES have been installed without enough clearance to avoid the brake wearing the tires or failing from stress. The wheelchair patient cannot lock the chair. They are too tight and are difficult for a grown man to operate. The location of the brake assembly on the chair can easily injure anyone’s hand when they are rolling the chair by self-propelling.Weight is Great! Looks strong. But I received mine yesterday and am returning it immediately. They probably shouldn’t market this product.

Light and pretty, but smaller…
I loved this chair! It’s so light and easy to lift, and pretty to look at, but it wasn’t for me, it was for my husband. He didn’t like the smaller wheels and it also felt too small for him, so I had to return it.
I love this necklace & the D initial because it is truly beautifully done & will definitely buy something else again SOON .DUSTY –
JUST WOW, HAPPY 😊
BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE THE OLD UGLY HEAVY BACK BREAKING WHEELCHAIR THAT WE HAVE & I COULDN’T BE MORE PLEASED , ITS SO EASY TO FOLD & UNFOLD & SO COMFORTABLE & LIGHT WEIGHT , FITS IN OUR TRUCK NO PROBLEM & BEAUTIFUL & THE CADILLAC OF WHEELCHAIRS , MY HUSBAND HASN’T EVEN SEEN IT YET BUT WILL LOVE THE EASY SELF EASY MOBILITY & ALL THE OTHER FEATURES , I THINK HE WILL BE SPOILED NOW , I WILL HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM TRYING TO GET HIM OUT IT & HE MIGHT WANT TO RACE WITH OTHER PEOPLE IN WHEELCHAIRS 😅 , IF I COULD GIVE IT 100 STARS I WOULD , ONE MORE IMPORTANT THING IS THE PRICE IT’S MORE THAN MANY OTHERS ON AMAZON BUT WORTH EVERY CENT. DUSTY

excellent engineering and workmanship
extremely happy with this wheelchair — i’ve been breaking my back loading the chair that medicare paid for, so we got this one for travel — what a difference — what really surprised me is the workmanship, and the design, not what i expected at this price — it is light enough that once my wife has her prosthesis, she will be able to be more independent and able to load it into the car

Lightweight for car travel
The chair came pretty much assembled then you clip on the foot paddles and the two rods at the back which prevent rolling backward. My husband had a brain stem stroke in Jan and I am 74 so now that he is home we needed a lighter chair forme to place in the trunk. He used to be heavy but is now 170 lbs.If you have a good sized trunk it will fit easily. We have a Hyundai Tucson fortunately. It also would fit in a Camry or Murano trunk.I am rather clumsy so a few times I have stubbed my toe on the back safety bars but after a week and 3 journeys to the doctor’s office I am learning to be careful. It comes with a seat pad and a back pad that have velcro to place them on.Pads do not fold w the chair but it is no big deal to move them every time.I used to lower the other Drive chair like I was doing a wheelie and I would push the small wheels upward to get the chair in my trunk but with this you cannot pull back on the big wheels.I am able to fold it and lift it sideways and then pull the handles under the top of the trunk. As long as he likes being able to be a bit independent, I can manage very well with this magnesium one.Do have the patient wear gloves for handling the wheels themselves. Foot paddles and brakes work great. He is not out on the street or riding by himself so I cannot speak to the durability in different conditions. The chair is kept indoors as well.
