Customers say

Customers find the heating pad effective for pain relief, particularly for knees and arms, and appreciate its incredible heat and cold therapy capabilities. The product is easy to use and wraps snugly around joints, though some report it doesn’t fit snuggly enough. Moreover, the heat level receives mixed feedback – while some say it heats up quickly, others note it doesn’t get very hot. Additionally, the heating efficiency is concerning as it stops working within minutes, and several customers report sizing issues, noting it’s too small for their needs.

Heat not warmth! There is a difference!
I specifically purchased this for a knee pain! I love that ice part of it I freeze it and then put it into the device and go to sleep with you by the time I wake up for work (in which I work night shift), my knee is pretty good and mobile!! And the heat isn’t too weak as well. Won’t be disappointed because it does provide heat not warmth!

    Straps are great
I love that I can strap it wherever I need heat/ice and it won’t move. The ice pack is a great bonus too. 2 things that aren’t great: 1, the cord often falls out of place from the heating pack while in use —it doesn’t secure itself well enough; and 2, the heating feels inconsistent, sometimes it feels too hot on the highest setting and sometimes it feels like it’s not nearly hot enough on the same setting (both on my wrist).

Love the pad, but the cord and I fight.
I’ve used the FlexTemp Joint Wrap almost every day for the last 18 months, mostly on the arms and elbows, and it is holding up really well. The heat does wonders for muscle and joint recovery and speeds up healing, with less scarring, from minor cuts and scrapes. The cold is great for acute swelling after an injury, and the gel insert has already lasted 4x longer than the cheaper microwaveable drug store kind.My only complaint is the design of the power cord. It is heavy, springy, and bouncy, and refuses to stay folded in any reasonable configuration, but jumps and slides off of tables, desks or laps and onto the floor at every opportunity. This causes the connector to separate and, what is worse, the cord bounces and whiplashes the control unit around like a flail or morning star (yes), without fail making a very loud noise, often several, as it strikes against any nearby hard surface. This does tend from time to time attract unwanted attention, disturb the peaceful slumber of others, and/or terrorize small pets and young children.

    Pain relief of knee
I had terrible pain around my knee. It was more of a dull excruciating pain than a sharp pain like a pinch or a cut. My wife had an abdominal pain so we bought a blanket heating pad for her and I bought a Subram pad for my knee. Her heating pad helped her but I only used my knee pad occasionally. The pain in my knee got so bad, people were talking about a knee replacement which I wasn’t about to go through.. I could hardly walk 10 feet. I pulled my leg behind me like Chester on the original GUN-SMOKE. I read on Web MD heat caused the blood to flow more freely and helped healing, so I started using the Sunbeam pad 24 hours a day—even when I was sleeping though they warn not to, but it shuts down after two hours so I would have to start it again. I finally went to the doctor and like you have trouble with a car and when you take it to a mechanic, it runs fine. When I saw the doctor, my knee was a lot better. It took about two weeks of constant use but now I have no aim and can walk normally longer distances. I always used the medium warmth. High burned and low didn’t help. I”m not saying don’t go see a doctor. But if you have pain in the muscle around the knee cap II suggest you try this pad to at least get a little comfort so the knee doesn’t hurt so badly. Then see the doctor if the pain subsists.Highly recommended.

    DEFECTIVE, BUYER BEWARE
Where do I start? If I could rate this a no star if I would have. The wrap wasn’t the easiest to put on, however I thought this product was working great until about less than 10 minutes tops, it stopped heating up. I started it on the medium setting, which cranked out a good amount of heat. Then all of a sudden no heat. I checked the plug/connection just to be sure everything was still hooked up. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to quickly realize that this product is defective. I looked up reviews to see if anyone else had the same issues and what do you know? The exact same problem and they said 8-10 minutes it stopped putting out heat . It does states if item is defective you can request a replacement or a full refund however, You have to select the contact us option, then select need more help option and go from there selecting damaged item and select the chat option. I was able to return/refund of this product and received my refund in full. I am very disappointed in this highly name brand product that and that they are making and selling items that have such a level of poor workman’s ship. I have owned several products by them in over the years and this product is a failure. It just seems like they would do a better job testing products and their work ability before selling them. It just surprises me. ??

The Best on the Market, BUT WITH DESIGN FLAWS!
This the best on the market for legs, knees, arms, etc. but to save pennies the cord between the controller and the heating pad is 4-5 feet too short (fine for an ice pack where electricity is not required). To understand this you need to know the cord between the controller and the pad is just 2 feet long. That results in the controller going to bed with you if you are laying down and the pad wrapped around your knee. There is no way a person can put the controller on the nightstand of even on a chair beside the bed. So you might say, well that is OK, but it is not. The control button is large and easy to press and if you aren’t careful you will be accidently turning it to a higher temperature or even off, or possibly putting the heat on when you have an ice pack inserted in the pouch. There needs to be at least 5 feet more of wire between the controller and the pad. Saving pennies on 5 feet of wire drops the product rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. Someone didn’t think the cost saving through. The other minor problem is the heat is marginal. Setting the controller on the highest setting is barely the right amount of heat. I would prefer that heat to be on the medium setting. It is just OK on the heat and I would not deduct a Star rating for that feature. The straps, materials and design are superb! Just add some more wire. It is like having the starter switch for your car under the hood or having your home light switches on the floor or ceiling.

the plug point for this product is not compatible with Indian plug points. Request seller to help to make the product work with Indian electricity plug points.

This is a good product. However, unlike me, you can save yourself roughly $90 if you purchase this at Canadian Tire. ($50). I saw it on the shelf today and now I feel ripped off.

It’s doesn’t gives you the proper heat. Waste of money considering you can’t return it to buy another product. I just can’t believe I spent $80 on this. It’s should be a returnable item if someone didn’t get benifit from the product.
