Overall good deal
This seems to be a superior quality product for the money. It is IMPERATIVE that you put the monitor body on the BOTTOM of your wrist. This is the only way to get accurate, consistent readings. I am not certain about the IR (irregular) display which occurs about one in 10-20 readings. It may be accurate, but I normally do not have an irregular heartbeat…or possibly we all have occasional occurrences as we get in our 60’s. Pulse rate is very accurate. Although plastic, the meter feels like a quality instrument, as does the strap. Two AAA batteries last about 45 days, since I take readings twice a day (or more)…this is excellent. I feel comfortable recommending this product, and I give it 5 stars since it does exactly what you need and at a very affordable price. The meter has several functions which I do not use, but may be important to others. A very nice product.

A life saver and a wallet saver
I have unstable blood pressure, and have found that this model is very accurate. I find myself in situations where I need to check my blood pressure on a somewhat regular basis. Some of these have the potential to become emergencies. I actually own 2 of these now, one that travels with me in my bag, and another in a special spot in the house where my husband always knows where it is.My big problem with it has to do with low blood pressure. My pressure drops suddenly, and while to a point I get an accurate reading from this thing, once it gets down to a certain level, it just gives me an error instead of a number. Basically if that happens, I know to get help. I don’t know if that’s a problem with all small, portable monitors. Some tips:When you’re taking your pressure. Keep the arm you have the monitor on approximately level with your heart. You don’t need to hold it in the air, in fact, it’s better to rest it on something. Don’t move around and definitely don’t talk. Try to get into a comfortable position before you turn it on. This will give you a better chance of it over-inflating and will also give you a more accurate reading.Overall, I really like these monitors. For the price and for what you get, especially since they talk, it’s a great value.

Absolute junk!!!!!!!!!
You get what you pay for. This unit is accurate but at least 70-80% of the time, it will take 45 seconds or longer to pump up, then it will show ERROR. The unit is correctly placed on arm. It is just a piece of cheap junk. I am spending the extra money and getting the Omron. I have several doctors that use it. I have to have a wrist unit because of cancer surgeries and I have heart trouble so I have to monitor my blood pressure. I am not buying any more of these cheap off brand blood pressure monitors. This one is accurate but it takes 45 seconds to get reading and for 70% or more to be an error reading. That is too much of my time to waste.

Quality
I needed a BP monitor that was easy to use and this is the one! I love the voice readout along with the bright number display. The quality is great and the price point even better! So glad I found this one.
