Changed My Life With This “How to Navigate” the Reality of the Medical Field & Insurance Nightmare
At 77 years of age,,, I have experienced every situation in “Surviving Your Doctor” book as introduced by Dr. Frank Toriti… The errors I made in my “4-way Heart Surgery” some 25 years ago,,, the errors I made in my stomach bypass “Bariatric Surgery” in 2012 – – only to have to follow up with another more radical “Bariatric Surgery” in 2022… I only wish I had the book back then.I grew up in the 50’s & 60’s being taught to 1) Never question a Doctor,,, 2) Never to question my Priest and 3) Never question the Police – – ALWAYS do as they ask and/or tell you… I never got a second opinion,,, never questioned my GP… BIG Mistake… Dr. Frank Torti’s Book has given me the strength,,, the knowledge and,,, the courage to be my own best advocate for my medical care in the future.A Must Have Book… I have bought a book for each of my children (both in their 50s) as well as 13-of my 70s and 80’s friends.

Practical Framework to Navigate America’s Healthcare Maze
Today’s American healthcare system has become a complex and challenging maze. Unfortunately, much of healthcare focuses on big money, not necessarily the patient. Fortunately, Dr. Torti shares his insights and experiences in an engaging read to help us navigate through the maze with an experience-based, practical, simple and understandable framework where we can put the patient – ourselves, family members, friends, associates, etc., first!

Read now, before you get a significant diagnosis
Practical, well written and knowledgeable. I appreciate the author it does not speak in absolutes and hard fast rules, but informs you of the full spectrum of issues you can encounter, and how you can make the best decision when confronting a significant diagnosis.Recommended.

Lifesaving, literally!!
Wow, I can’t say enough about the impact this book has had on my family. It gave my wife and I the tools to realize that we weren’t getting the right care from a doctor and the confidence to make a change that may literally end up being lifesaving.
