Lifesaver at the airport
Very light, but sturdy cane/seat. Recently at the airport, they failed to let wheelchair passengers go first to allow extra time to get to the plane and get seated. So in the middle of this line in the boarding tunnel she was able to open the seat and rest. She is 155 lbs and she feels secure on it, but I doubt you would feel secure if over 200 lbs. Even with her recent back operation she could open the seat and sit by herself. The handle goes between the legs, if you sit with the handle at your back, you will fall over. Read the instructions. Stupidity is self-correcting. It is light and small so I could fit it on top of the rollerboards in the overhead. If you are using a cane for support or stability, and expect to do any travel or visiting where you might have to stand in line, this might make the difference between a minor annoyance or a possible health issue. Great product for the right person.

Good cane, but seat a little low & small.
Good quality, multi functional product. Correct height, very stable, compact & lightweight, & easy to fold. Seat is a little low though, & seems best suited for people who are not overweight like me. Great Product
This is an excellent product, it is very sturdy and light weight. I thought it would be very bulky but it isn’t at all. The only issue is that I’m 6’2 and the cane is to short for me. I reached out to Switch Sticks and they were able to authorize a refund and I was able to keep the product as well. Their customer service is great but I would just be mindful that this aide isn’t for those that are on the taller side. I would recommend getting a tape measure and measuring 34 inches from your foot going up your leg towards your hip and see if it’s tall enough for you.

I should’ve looked more closely at the colour.
My eyes being what they are, I thought this was a brown cane that just happened to be shiny – not striped. I wanted a neutral brown but this is basically pink stripes and I find it incredibly ugly. Technically works so far but I haven’t brought it outside yet. Already creaked once when I sat down on it and I’m well within the weight limit. It’s also very hard to get the seat out and to put it back up. I’m a bit nervous to give it a test outside, not to mention it literally doesn’t match any of my clothes which is a shame and a disappointment.

Dangerous product – fall risk. Not for anyone over age 40. Too unsteady/flimsy seat
I am a physical therapist specializing in fall risk reduction and assisting people with their upright mobility safety. This product was purchased to assist someone who wanted to progress their safety outside of their home. The seat on the cane is unstable. I am a 5’5″, 130# lady and it is not a sturdy enough sitting surface even on level flooring. I am unable to use this product for its intended purchase and it is not returnable from the Amazon website. The unsafe seating product quality combined with the disappointing support in returning the item has facilitated in leaving this honest review. This product would be appropriate for a young person attending a golf event but is not designed for someone who needs an assistive device to ambulate.

For the price point this is not that bad I don’t think I would recommend it for someone that is heavy. As expected the seat is tiny and is only meant for small rests at a time so if you’re uneasy on your feet and need a quick rest this is perfect.
