Easy to use alert system, works great for our needs.
Bought this for my sick wife to let me know when she needs my attention from our room. Works really well to alert me as you can turn it up and has some annoying settings that grab attention quickly. Great price too…I will probably get more of them.

Button did not activate alarm but the company sent me a replacement which works as described.
The button has a built in battery which was DOA. I will be returning it. Giving it two stars as mine was a dud while others might be OK.Although the original pager was defective, the company reached out to me and sent a replacement unit that does work. I changed the rating to 5 stars as I appreciate a company that stands behind their product.

It’s a Lil helper
I live across the walk way from my elderly mother. She can buzz me if she needs me. It’s great!

Must have when caring for elderly parents
Unbeknownst to me, my sister in law ordered a caregiver pager at the same time as I did. We ended up using the one she ordered because it came with a couple receivers, whereas this one only has one. Nonetheless, I still tested this one out and will keep it as a back up.This is very easy to set up and use. The pager and receiver paired easily and I could go anywhere in the house to activate the receiver. I did not try activating from the garden – so I can’t say how it works from the outdoors. I liked the variety of ring tones and found several that I liked. The receiver also played loud and clear. At the time I ordered this, it was priced at $16, which seems like a good value. This is a very handy tool to have as we care for aging parents!

Works great
Just plugged it in for my mom. Works great. I should definitely be able to hear her if she needs help.

Impressive stand alone alert device for a good price. Works very well!
I recently had a severe inner ear infection that lasted for two months. It made me very dizzy. I was concerned about having a fall, and I wanted to make sure I could get assistance. (I don’t always have my phone in-hand; plus, if you fall while holding your phone, your phone will likely go flying out of reach.) I decided to get this, and I am so happy I did! I never had a fall, thank goodness, but having this made me feel so much safer. One of the best features is that it requires no subscription, bluetooth, or wifi. This stand alone system works very well. Pressing the button (which you clip on or hang around your neck) produces a loud tune/sound (which you can choose) combined with bright lights flashing on the receiving unit. I found the range to be slightly farther than the stated 500 feet. You can choose from a variety of tunes/sounds and loudness levels. It can get quite loud, if you need it to be.Now that my ear infection and dizzy spells are gone, I am giving this to my boyfriend’s father, who is 96. He lives alone, and family members check on him several times daily; but he also has wonderful nearby neighbors who said they are happy to keep the receiver unit at their home. This makes all of us feel so much better, knowing that he has a way to alert someone immediately if he falls or urgently needs something.Currently, this is only $13, and I think this is an incredible value for something that could be lifesaving. Even if it is never needed, it is inexpensive enough that it is worth having it on-hand for peace of mind. Even if you are perfectly healthy or younger, it could be helpful if you were down with the flu and just needed to let someone know you need something, without depending on a phone. This review was for the Tecknet Wireless Caregiver Pager.

Fantastic pager for elderly
This pager is really great! Various family members are taking turns helping my 90+ year old mother these days as her health is in decline. We have the button next to my mom’s bed and the ringer plugged into the wall in the spare bedroom so if anything happens and she needs help, she’ll be able to wake us up right away just by pressing that button. We always make sure someone is with her now, so she doe not need to wear it around her neck, but the other thing we’re doing is sometimes she’ll take an electric wheelchair out to meet up with friends for dinner, etc. (she lives in a retirement community). She’ll take the button with her and when she gets back she can ‘ring the bell’ so we can open the door for her and she doesn’t have to get out of the wheelchair until she is back inside the apartment and can park it right next to her walker. This works great! We used to try to have her knock at the door, but it was too difficult for her to maneuver the chair and she usually ended up propping herself up to open the door…this felt like an accident waiting to happen and I’m so glad to have this solution! There are a variety of different sound options — from a kind of jarring(!) siren to a digital version of the ‘Entertainer’ ….we have it set on a ‘doorbell’ sound (..a lot more pleasant than the siren haha, but still loud enough to wake you up!
