Show the process
My son is 5 and doesn’t know how to ready yet. The pictures are great for him to understand just by looking at it. It’s something I can read to him or he can look at it alone. This book is also an easy was for me to discuss his diagnosis.

Demystifying Cerebral Palsy
It is truly a gift to openly discuss and educate our kids on the range of different abilities they will encounter in life. They naturally have the curiosity and compassion to propel us all forward toward a kinder, gentler world community. Such a timely book to celebrate acceptance and inclusion for all children. As a speech and language specialist working exclusively with special education preschoolers, I am excited to have more fun and informative materials to share with all of my preschool classrooms!—Kris Martino, Au.D. Equipment knowledge
I like that the book touches a lot on all of the different equipment that our CP Warrior uses. It’s nice for other kids to know and understand and for him to feel like he’s not alone

Beautifully explained
We will be sending this book to school each year for her class to learn about her disability. This book explains CP better than we have ever tried. She loved seeing kids like her in the pages as well.

I bought this book as my son has cerebral palsy. It’s a really educational book put into simple terms for children. The illustrations are great too. There are other ‘Abilities and Me’ books which I have purchased too. Highly recommendcto anyone with children to educate them on others who are not as able as themselves.
