ALS Breakthrough! How Arguing with AI Revealed a Hidden Cause- and Patient Zero’s Miracle Results Point to Hope for Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and Beyond Kindle Edition
News FLASH!!: The main premise of this book that progesterone should be effective at halting ALS progression has just been proven correct in a mouse model of ALS as of July 2013: (The first study ever of progesterone in ALS by the way.) Neurobiol Dis. 2013 Jul 26. pii: S0969-9961(13)00205-2. doi: 10.1016/j.nbd.2013.07.011. Source Neural Injury Research Lab, University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Seoul 138-736, Republic of Korea. This IS the better mousetrap! Most MD’s get just a basic 4 years in Med School, then work to earn not learn. I’ve researched diseases and aging for 20+ years, with a 10 year stint where I spent 12 hrs/day everyday in the Northwestern Med School’s library just reviewing clinical and scientific studies! .I’ve had 3 major papers published; the publishing journal has 5 Nobel Prizes between the editors. And described my papers as extremely exciting and of major importance! Warning: This book is not yet really a book, and it is not finished, but my father , a Stanford educated MD, suggested I get the word out about a possible discovery of a hormonal treatment that might CURE ALS or at least has an excellent chance of stopping it in its tracks. He liked the theory so much and felt it was compelling enough that anyone with ALS should hear the argument why two hormones and a few other things might CURE or HALT ALS! Using a “top down” research approach rather than science’s agonizingly slow”bottom up” method of research, I identify the two hormones, progesterone and melatonin.that have the best chance of stopping ALS.. and I wont tell you the big clues until the end of the book in case you want to try and follow me as I try to put the puzzle pieces together…but the answer is obvious and satisfying and the treatment should cost $100 a month or less for a possible cure. You can always jump tot he end of the book if you grow impatient. What does medicine and Big Pharma have for ALS suffferers now? Nothing but a drug called Rilutek which extends the average lifespan by 5 months and costs $500 a week!! Most diagnosed with ALS only have 2 to 4 years of expected life left to live. In this unfinished book I do reveal the big clues and the logic behind this new theory as well as a protocol that I have been helping an ALS sufferer put together to try and stop ALS in its tracks. I am confident it will work. I felt it would not be right to sit on this potentially life-saving information while I spent several months finishing the book. YOU WILL ONLY WANT TO BUY THIS BOOK IN PROGRESS IF YOU OR A LOVED ONE HAS ALS. IF YOU JUST HAVE A GENERAL INTEREST IN THE TOPIC PLEASE WAIT FOR ANOTHER MONTH OR TWO FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT. If you do go ahead and buy this unfinished book, I include my email address at the end and if you contact me I will send you a finished version of the book for free when it is done. Living proof husband lives 24 years plus
The author offers valuable insights in this book. My husband has had ALS for 24 years, and over the years, we’ve tried many supplements. However, progesterone has had the most significant impact over the past nine years, helping to slow the progression of the disease. Finding this book recently was reassuring, confirming that we’ve been on the right path all along.

Solved probably not but certainly on to something worth investigating further
I really respect this researcher and writer. It is written very casually so it’s not like a normal book. I happen to like his style, he’s keep’n it real. I think he may be on to something here.

Trying to wrap my mind around the concepts in this book still, but…
I only just downloaded it and skimmed it. It is a bit unorganized and quite a lot of information to take in, but I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the effort you have put into this book, thus far, and I anxiously await the final product. I do not have ALS and I do not have a family member with ALS, to my knowledge (very big family), but my wife works in a long term care facility where I volunteer occasionally — and where a very dear friend of mine and former coworker is a resident due to this debilitating illness, Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He and his twin brother are two of the kindest, most giving and caring persons I had ever met in my life. Every day that I see him, which is almost 5 days each week, I try to keep my hopes up that some kind of medical miracle will be discovered to help him get better. His family needs him. Thank you for making this book available, even in its unfinished state. I will devour it immediately. Please send me your updated book when it has finished, and please post the results of the experimental hormone treatments with your ALS subject/friend for us. Every encouragement is much appreciated, but a cure is even more appreciated. As you are aware, those with ALS rarely have more than 2 years’ life remaining after the illness begins to overtake its victim. Again, thank you, for the information in your book.

utterly useless
This book (calling it a book is an insult to the word ‘book’) not only is utterly useless but also can be harmful. The best outcome of reading this is mere waste of time and money. Worse, it could be misleading and distract patients from seeking real solutions (however slim the hope is).The author read a bunch of excerpts from PubMed, gazed and his navel, and then claimed he may have solved ALS. 90% of the text is his copy-pasting of hundreds of excerpts containing keyword ALS and his email correspondences with one ALS patient. Like any typical big mouth/small brain pseudo-scientist, there’s no shred of solid evidence that his suggestions have improved the condition of any ALS patient except his own conviction that he’s right.I guess as long as there are desperate ALS patients/family members like myself, there will be a market for this type of ‘things’. When I paid the 3 bucks, I thought the worst will be 3 bucks gone and some time wasted. But what if there’s a 0.1% of chance there’s something useful? It’s that very thought process that the author is trying to capitalize again and again.

very informative. Highly recommend
I think the information in this book would change lives. There are lots of unanswered questions in the medical field, and Mr. Bowles seems to have uncovered a lot of clues that MD,s are missing.

JEFF T. BOWLES KNOCKS IT OUT OF THE PARK AGAIN!
I have read all of Mr. Bowles’ books. His book on taking larges doses of Vitamin D was a life changer for me. After a year of taking a lot of Vitamin D I feel like a new person. And now he has written another outstanding book about ALS. I have recommended this book to some people whose family members suffer from ALS. Keep up the great work Mr. Bowles.

Top Down Analyse mit guten Vorschlägen zur Einnahme von Narungsergänzungsmittel. ALS als multible Systemerkrankung – da kann man mehr tun als nur Riluzol/Rilutek zu schlucken

Very insightful and helpful regarding ALS. Every aspect is approached as an opportunity to stabilize ALS, which is greatly appreciated.Thank you.
