Really excellent book!
After having a grandchild diagnosed as on the autism spectrum I began researching and stumbled across the author’s podcast. I started hearing her discuss this book but I was too late to get into the kickstarter campaign. I was looking into purchasing the book when the author sent out the opportunity to receive and review the book. I jumped at the opportunity and received my copy of the book and immediately read it cover to cover and started working through it with my grandchild. All of the activities are simply but thoroughly explained and you can tell immediately which might be just right for your situation. Just like with autism, not every activity will apply to every child but I am very pleased with what does apply to our situation. I’ve already ordered another copy to share with some other family members and will order more I’m sure. This is an excellent book not only for autism but for any condition that makes interaction with a child more difficult than “normal”. I would recommend it for everyone.

Very beneficial
I am a father of a child that has autism. While it’s not easy at times, we always learn new things and know how to enjoy life. I also constantly look for literature and lessons of different kind that would help us. This book did a tremendous job in helping my child. I would definitely recommend to anyone with similar problems.

This is a great book full of fun activities
This is a great book full of fun activities. The activities that we have done have helped my other children understand some of their little sisters obstacles…. Awesome

Awesome activities
Definitely a Lotta good ideas in here and you can also get creative to make them more challenging or whatever depending on how functional or low functioning they are

Not helpful
My grandson is 6 years old, on the spectrum and very high functioning. His language and communication skills are really well developed except in social situations other than his family. He doesn’t know how to approach his classmates and make new friends. I was hoping this book would help with this problem but I don’t see how. I haven’t read anything that would be helpful for my grandson’s situation. This book seems to be geared more towards children who don’t have any communication skills. It does well in describing helpful activities, but there are no explanations given as to why or how the activity helps. I guess I was hoping to gain a better understanding as to why any given activity is helpful. I’m unhappy with this book because I feel like I’m not getting the whole story and I wish I could get my money back.

What a wonderful book it is. Giving clear instructions how to train them step by step. Hope it will help my autistic daughter and many like her. Will review again after few months. Thank you.

This book has some excellent ideas which can be easily modified to suit your child’s preferences. Keeping a child engaged and excited about social games can be a challenge, as such, new ideas can go a long way in helping build strong social bonds and other core skills.
