The Glass Half Full: Matthew’s Story With ALS

Matthew (Matt) Patterson is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He now lives in Saint Augustine, Florida with his wife Carmen. In college at Penn State University, he studied Management and Organization in its Smeal College of Business. Matt was working as a commercial insurance underwriter in Southern California when he was diagnosed with ALS. The year after Matt’s ALS diagnosis he moved to Florida and stays busy with various things, which is the subject of the book, his journey since then. Matt hopes through this book to give hope and some information vicariously in his experiences written about to those with ALS, their families, and caregivers. The journey Matt has taken has been by the grace of God and drew him closer to the Lord.
