Inspiring Outlook and Approach
Ryan, your presentation and story are truly remarkable. I love the simple way you share your condition with others through this children’s book. It has touched my heart. You are a true warrior and a blessing to others.

Excellent book! Just read it, you won’t be disappointed!
This was an excellent book! I read it to my 5 yr old son to help him understand what his big brother had. DMD is a terrifying diagnosis when you read about it, yet the author made this easy to read and understand for a younger child. It also was uplifting and positive for my son with DMD. Thank you for making this a positive book explaining how even with a disability you are no different than others and to never give up! Such great advice for our kids. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has DMD or knows someone who does.

A wonderful story!
This book is so sweet! The author talks about his struggles with DMD, and there are letters from his family to him, it is just so heartwarming! The author writes about how he wants to help other children with DMD, and I think this book will do that!

Awesome!
So many stories about DMD are sad and scary. This book shines a light on how much beauty there is in life, even with “muscle ouchies”. Thank you for sharing your life with us, your generosity paves the way for those who come behind you. Leslie, DMD carrier and proud mom of Grant, 11 with an awesome smile and DMD.

Loved it
Loved the book. Easy read to a child, yet very informational to the adult who may have a child with MD. This author is very sensitive to the needs of a family with this diagnosis. Can’t wait for the next chapter to come. I will keep this in my library for years to come. Thanks again Ryan.

Well Done
I was Ryan’s first grade teacher and he was such a sweet kid. I’m so touched to see how he wants to help other kids with this condition. Ryan lost his battle with MD this week. We are all so sad but he lived a full life and made the most of his situation. What an inspiration.
